I reached out to a buddy who owns a construction company in dover because he knows lots of contractors and I didnt want to get ripped off. He recomend a&m emphatically. In a few hours shawn was able to diagnose the problem, swap a few parts, and do some custom welding. I was expecting to hear that this would cost thousands, and be a major overhaul. He thought outside the box, saved me a ton of money, didnt try to upsell or drag it out.

I can tell you about many shortcuts they took that have cost me significantly. My neighbors have all had the same problems. Their responsiveness was not great at the time of the build and it plummeted to zero after the job was done. I, or my neighbors, have had to replace porches, roofing, decks, structural supports and windows to name a few of the major things. I can feel cold air around the gas fireplace actually blowing in from the outside. There must not be any insulation around it. As problems have occurred, attempts to contact the company got no response. Any initial contact was just to inquire about something in an effort to determine how to fix whatever it was. I certainly would expect things to need fixing over the years but the quality of their work goes way beyond typical wear and tear. They really deserve zero stars for a rating.

DO NOT HIRE RAFFAEL BARROS FROM PROFOUND MARBLE & GRANITE…read more Shame on us for hiring Raffael "Raffi" Barros as our General Contractor and for countertops for our kitchen renovation. He will take your money upfront and will not pay the subcontractors (My deepest apologies Mary W.) We purchased 2 slabs of quarts for our countertops. Raffi purchaed one slab and remnant pieces and pocketed the difference. That left us with 3 obvious seams and large gaps in between the cabinets and countertops. Asked him to repair a tile that has a gauge in it from him removing the spacers with a hammer and he said he will put epoxy on it. I told him that is not what I wanted, and he said it would be too much work to take out the tiles and remove the thin set. We worked with him hoping things would get better and to our disappointment it just continuously got worse. We finally let him go and are left with countertops that will need to be replaced, a tile floor that needs to be repaired and regrouted. We paid $28,000 for what we thought was going to be a high level of professionalism and quality and an eye for detail that was not even close to being met. He is a fraud and would stay clear of him. Small claims here we come!
