But we made the mistake of probably overpaying him up front and along the way, which has eventually resulted in job abandonment after 7 months. We are left in a construction zone with a half finished covered area and numerous other things we paid him to do that we are having to hire another contractor to complete. Mike gave us EVERY believable excuse in the world, EVERY week, for why he couldn't make it that week. EVERY believable excuse. Until, poof, my husband and I woke up one day and said all these excuses cannot possibly be real. Then, this very Yelp review was shared with us. We were so disappointed when we read this review and to realize his tactics appear to be a pattern. It looks like he's had previous LLCs to include Splinters Construction and Vision Wood Works.
