He quoted a price immediately and it outbid every other business so I hired them. This was a legal EVICTION of a WAREHOUSE with OFFICES, a KITCHEN & 1.5 BATHROOMS. It involved a Judge with court appearances & a Jefferson Parish Constable who was onsite for the entire eviction. Junkluggers showed up on time with 3 huge dump trucks (5 in total) & several very strong men to move extremely heavy and bulky items. They were able to do the job in half of the time that I anticipated. Another plus about Junkluggers was that they carefully separated what was junk/trash from the nice items that the evicted tenants left behind that could be donated or recycled. Junkluggers went above and beyond what we anticipated and did additional work that they did not charge us for. We were very impressed and couldn't be more pleased with the price quoted. On the west side of David Drive, between Airline Highway and Metairie Rd, you pull in the entrance, there is a shack just inside the gates, tell the person what you are there for and make your way in. In the middle is a raised platform to be able to drop appliances into the large bins (like dumpsters for construction sites), which makes unloading easy. On the edges are spots for fluids like oil, brake fluid and the like. In a corner is a dumpster for recycling of household goods. There was someone there the day I went to help unload the vehicle, which was good as I just moved and had a lot of packing materials to recycle. It was free to drop off household items, I am not sure if there is a charge for larger items. You then exit on to David drive, so it is a loop that you go through. Mondays are the only days they are closed. I wish I had known about this before now. This is amazing! I am in heaven. Other places are only open one Saturday a month, or on weekdays that are not raining. Insanity. And the place I am currently living (an apartment building) does not offer recycling, so it is nice that I know of more options in the area.
