I have been very nice when I've called to ask them multiple times to ask them to please advise their workers about this, without success. The last time I called I asked to speak with the owner and left word for them, but they didn't care enough to call me back. That day they blew so much dirt and dust into my yard as I was working out there that it triggered an asthma attack.

Lightning struck a large oak tree in my Mom's backyard. It wasn't noticed until a week later when…read moreher house went up for sale and a interested buyer was looking over the backyard. We called a well known tree service. They came out, told my Mom (84) that they couldn't get their equipment in her yard (even though she has double gates big enough to pull a vehicle through), so they would have to get a climber in the tree to cut the limbs. This tree was bout 80 ft tall. Their quote included the cost of a dumpster to haul off the debris and they couldn't do the job for at least 2 weeks. Their estimate was outrageously expensive! Our agent recommended calling Risk Tree Service. We called and the owner came out the same morning. One look at the tree and he said it needed to come down immediately because of the damage the lightning strike caused, it could fall on the house any moment. He said he would push his other appointments out in order to get it done. Because of the hazard he did not want a climber in the tree and instead pulled his lift into the backyard to cut the tree down. His crew showed up exactly when he said they would. They laid mats down as not to mess up the lawn with the equipment. They worked extremely efficient as a team and the entire job, including grinding down the stump and roots, was completed in a couple of hours. When they were done we couldn't tell they were there except for a small pile of sawdust from the stump. Per my request, the tree trimmer even cut me a slab from the trunk as a keepsake. My Mom & I had planted this tree together nearly 20 years ago. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Risk Tree Service!

The problem with yelpers is that they have too high of expectations on everything and everyone, except themselves. Daly Sublette landscaped my yard when I lived in New Orleans, pre-Katrina. Not only were they very reasonably priced, but also very talented. I got an amazing yard, and they worked within my budget. I didn't have to sacrifice anything. They were onsite for the job, made sure everything was permitted and properly done. They accidentally broke some of my stairs and replaced them, at their cost. I can only guess that the poor review had to do with unreal expectations, intransigence and possible stupidity. Many customers are just stupid, and blame poor results on the wrong person.

We already had plans for a pool drawn up by our swimming pool contractor when we saw one designed by Brian Sublette. It was awesome!!!! We hired Brian to redesign the plans for our pool. He came up with a design that evolved around our existing trees and incorporated plantings that actually jutted out into the pool. He literally turned our backyard into an oasis. He did this without increasing our budget. Our backyard was actually prettier than friends that had spent far more. Now, after purchasing a very plain 1960's ranch style home, Brian has developed a design using pavers and new landscaping to give it some character and charm. I highly recommend this firm for all of your landscape design. Brian is professional, truly talented, and most important to me.....patient.

I had 5 concrete pavers in my backyard break due to their mishandling. They stated that one paver was already broken prior to them beginning the work which I find highly unlikely.
