They sent a drone to do the high-level roof inspection, then went up to look at the area they suspected was the problem before giving me the estimate. The work was done quickly and they showed me pictures of each step when they were done. They seem to have a very sound scheduling and communication process. The price was reasonable as well.

Newman Roofing has less of a Yelp presence than on other sites. My kid had a leaky roof and was…read morewading through all the options. You've seen the circulars and the signs in yards. But is the company reputable? And do you really want to go with a relatively new company even if is owned by your buddy. He decided, no. Newman is competitive with hundreds of 5 star reviews. He went with Newman. Subsequently we had a hail storm and neighbors were advising us to get our roof checked out. Our roof was 20 years old. I wanted to be honest with the insurance company and not submit a claim unless Tyler from Newman, who came out to give us an estimate, was sure we needed a new roof and we suffered damage beyond normal wear and tear. Plus we had 2 houses. Well one needed a new roof and the other one likely has another couple of years left. As an aside, if you turn in a claim to your insurance company, even if it is denied, you risk higher premiums or cancelation. That is why it is important to have Newman Roofing spend time assessing. In our case, our roof was more wear and tear with minimal hail. Dan and his guys were on time, even early. Weather has consistently been in the mid 90's. I was worried. But Newman keeps them well supplied with hydration. 14 man crew meant lots of vehicles, even a dump truck but they were minimally disruptive to our neighbors. Furniture moved, netting put up to minimize construction mess on house and garden areas. And then they went to work. All I can say is WOW. I am so pleased. When they were finished, the cleaned up all the mess, including using a magnetized thing for nails in driveway, patio and grass. The yard, the patio, the driveway, the porches are SPOTLESS. I highly highly highly recommend Newman Roofing. They did my kid's. They did this roof and in 2 years they will do our other roof. Price is good too.

I remember vividly me and my adjuster reached out to them multiple times for two months with no response even though they have been assigned to this claim, after no response, me and my adjuster decided to report them to the insurance company only after we reported them to the insurance company they started responding to us after a two month delay. I decided I did not want to move forward with them for repairs because of this, And had to seek out a new construction company to do the repairs. I do not recommend this company at all if you're looking for a company that is responsive, professional, or with integrity.

Ascent Roofing did multiple repairs to fix the damage as well as coordinated with the insurance companies to get the repairs covered 100%. Through their detailed inspection process, they also made us aware that we did not have any insulation over half of the restaurant. They blew in 20" of Owens Corning Attic Cat insulation which has saved my restaurant 30% or more on our heating and cooling bills. Their whole team from the owner Brent who came out for the estimate to their laborers were on-time, courteous and professional. They even worked around our schedule so it didn't disrupt our business and did the install on a Saturday morning at 5am. We would highly recommend the Ascent team to anyone with roofing or insulation needs.

After getting several estimates, I went with Ascent Roofing Solutions for my tear-off/re-roof…read moreneeds. Ascent wasn't the cheapest, nor the most expensive. Like Goldilocks, it was just right. From the get-go, I had a good gut feeling just talking with Bill. We just "clicked". He was professional, courteous and took the extra step to drive by my home ahead of time so he could bring out samples of shingles in colors I might like. I appreciated that. I liked that Ascent was local. Being a Navy brat, I appreciate the company is owned/operated by vets. Bill answered all my questions and got my project scheduled quickly. The crew arrived at 6:30 AM and was done by just after 12:30PM. They were very careful to tarp above my landscaping to protect it. They worked quickly and efficiently. Afterwards, they were meticulous with clean up, going over not once but twice with the magnets to find practically every nail in my grass and landscaping. They missed very few. They used a leaf blower to get any debris off deck roof, deck, driveway and walkway. Bill returned after the crew left and he courteously "tweaked" a few things for me. To say the least, I was impressed. From inspection to quote to finished project, I'm very pleased with the outcome. I would not hesitate to recommend Ascent Roofing Solutions. Thank you, Bill & crew, for a job well done.

I thought I had reviewed them before but I had not. A year or so ago I was having an issue with…read morewater seeping into my fireplace bricks. Ace discovered that the prior roofer(2017) had failed to seal a gap between the shingles and the edge of the chimney. The roof that was replaced was two layers, and when it was replaced with one layer, that left an inch or so gap between the shingles and and chimney, which they failed to seal and also failed to install proper flashing so that water would drain away from the chimney. Ace repaired the issue and their price was very reasonable. Recently, I noticed paint cracking and dampness in a ceiling. I called the company that installed the roof-as it is nearing the end of the warranty. They sent someone who said he saw nothing wrong, and claimed they might need better ventilation. He said someone would call. No one did. I called Ace, he went up and saw the source of the problem, a bullet hole-likely there from someone's errant New Year's celebration. He fixed the issue within 15 minutes. Ace is responsive, and most important, he acts with integrity and his assessments are credible. Irrespective of 'warranties,' I trust him and will always call him first.
