It took forever, and once we were in the process I couldn't wait till it was over. It felt like the Three Stooges were sent to do the work. The painting had to be redone several times -- their "team" clearly had no idea what they were doing. We had to have them rebuild the door at least twice, because the quality was truly subpar. Six months later, the door is already showing age (see photo). They were careless with the space (inside the patio, and in the surrounding garden). They never cleaned up after themselves. I had to entirely cut back one of the plants behind the patio because it was so badly broken. I'd find nails and debris around outside that I would have to throw away; they brought plastic, but barely covered our patio furniture (so I did that myself); and they broke one of our side tables. Attention to detail was absent -- I've attached photos of just SOME of the trim corners that do not match up -- there are gaps instead. Chad and his son Adam were nice enough, but we were paying for something that should've looked excellent in the end. It looks OKAY (if you don't really look at the details), and it was no fun getting there. I would absolutely suggest using a different contractor.

He is conscientious and once the work was completed he even went over all the work to be sure each part of it was done correctly. His crew started removing our old roof at 6:00am and were finished with the new GAF roof at 3:30pm the same day. The new roof looks great and they cleaned up everything around the house. Don also replaced our gutters & downspouts with continuous extruded gutters and installed gutter covers too. They look so much better than before and no more cleaning gutters for me. We had to repeatedly fight to achieve quality work and were left with a mostly satisfactory outcome after three frustrating and stressful months of negotiation and conflict. The project manager did not consider assessment of the quality of the work as his responsibility. When we tried to fill this role, we were either told that our previously agreed upon expectations were now unreasonable, or that the issues would be addressed only to have them disregarded. We would have no communication for weeks, and then have workers show up without notice to start work we had not approved. At each meeting, there was an exaggerated amount of (insincere) accommodations that was met with little follow through. There was not a lack of communication; there was disregard for what we communicated. Our problems were not with the workers. They were always polite and respectful, and mostly cleaned up after themselves. We also had a very positive experience with the woodworker/craftsman they sent to address issues with our door frames and window sills. Our experience with him was the most affirming part of the project. In our final interaction, the entire management team showed up without an appointment and, with what felt like an intimidating exchange, stated they were there to tie up loose ends, collect payment, and be done with us. Although half-hearted apologies and excuses designed to placate were offered and passed around, they were never fully owned. We are mostly pleased with the overall completed project, but the process to get to that outcome was labored, stressful, frustrating and unsatisfying. They do an outstanding job. I have vinyl siding and brick, and the clean is even and complete. No dirty spots. No bright spots. I've also had Allegiance clean the leaves out of my gutters once a year. It's a super big problem because we have fern oak trees that are taller than the house and the gutters get packed. The guys from Allegiance come over, they go up on the top of my two-story house, and they clean the gutters out, completely... even down to the bottom of the spouts. This year the guy even went as far as to remove and replace a broken part meaning that he had to go up and down the ladder a couple of times. He knocked on my window, showed me what was going on, and replaced some screws that were too long for the gutter and catching the leaves. They're just super thorough. And the price is fantastic.
