A new fried chicken joint opened up near my house so I thought I'd give it a try yesterday evening. I ordered a bucket of 10 chicken pieces with a side of fries. After tax it was about $47. I didn't know they cooked the chicken upon ordering so there was a 15 minute wait. Oh man, the chicken was so juicy and delicious! Definitely better than Popeyes and Jollibee. It doesn't feel heavy as well. The fries were yummy and slightly spicy. My BIL ordered the Twaco and he enjoyed it as well. Can't wait to eat it again! read more

I want to like this place, I really do, but this is the 4th time I have ordered lunch only to have my drinks not included with my order. I have no idea what is going on there because the receipt stapled to the order clearly says 2 Cans of Coke but whomever is packing orders doesn't or cant read. Food is usually good but I wont be ordering anymore. Staff cant follow basic instructions and that's a shame for otherwise tasty food. Order #14, June 25, 12:51pm will be my last order. New chicken and waffle place recently opened up in Mississauga. It's so close to me so I had to come check it out! I tried their 'Cluck Yeah', a boneless chicken breast in between their signature jalapeños and cheddar waffles! Their chicken was tender and juicy but the waffle was on the bland side even with the jalapeño and cheese infused into the waffle, I was really just missing out on that nostalgia egg flavour of a waffle. The fries were also a bit cold, and there just wasn't anything special about it. Texture of the fries was very similar to the Costco ones. So I would personally skip out on the fries next time. The owners were super sweet and nice, so I'd still recommend you to try out this local mom and pop shop! read more

Randomly stopped by at this place one evening, the decor inside is stunning and very retro! The waffle portion I felt lacked in flavour and crispness if left in for a little bit longer. The chicken is where I felt most disappointment because it was not crispy at all, although it was tender it lacked in flavour which I felt was over compensated by the sauces. I did enjoy the coleslaw portion of the sandwich. The service was really fast and cashier was very pleasant! read more

This isn't chicken and waffles. I'm used to the savory and sweet combination, but this is chicken with mayo on a savory waffle and a pickle. It had some spice to it, and the waffle was okay. The cheese wedges were disgusting. The cheese was worse than movie theater nacho cheese. Complete fail. read more

I've been going to the downtown location for years, I'm so glad a location opened up so close by in Mississauga and I can happily attest that the food was amazing and the customer service top notch. The Cluck Yeah has always been my go-to and it was delicious as usual, with the chicken juicy and tender and sandwiched between their signature freshly made jalapeño and cheddar waffles. Cluck Clucks is finally open in Mississauga and I'm a huge fan! The food is made to order and tastes exceptional. My personal favourite is the Spicy As Cluck sandwich, which is their take on the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It's hot, but so tasty! read more

I have been waiting for this place to open for a LONG time and unfortunately it was a huge let down. We are regulars at the esplanade location so we expected the same quality of food but it was nothing like the food at Toronto location. We ordered the Cluck yeah sandwich and found the waffles over cooked and a little too hard, the Jalapeño in the waffles was not chopped properly too, there were big chunks here and there. Chicken was very very small and not breaded properly so it wasn't crispy at all. I ate nearly half the waffles without any chicken. Giving this place one star because the staff was really nice. We got cold fries and told the guy at the counter and he got us fresh hot fries without any fuss. It would have been nice to have a good chicken and waffles place close to our house but looks like we are stuck going to Toronto again..sigh! read more
