Studio Fire might be old to you but it's new to me and I am so grateful I got the opportunity to…read morecheck this place out. First off, the vibe and atmosphere is super dope. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The place is definitely a vibe with its dope aesthetic. The class that I took was challenging and definitely pushed me but man was it worth it. Our instructor went at a great pace and I was a fan of the room being a warm 85 degrees. So if you're in the mood to push yourself in a new way this new year, come check them out here at Studio Fire I'm sure you'll absolutely love it!

Great studio and atmosphere. If you like late evening flow or can plan 7-10 days in advance, then…read morethis studio is for you. I like the yoga/barre weekend classes, and apparently everyone else does too. I can rarely (almost never) get in. I'm waitlisted every time with 12+ people ahead of me (and that's signing up several days in advance). It's important to know that you get charged a credit ($20-$25 ) if you don't cancel 48 hours before class. This policy means you can't get on 2 waitlists in the same day. So if you don't make it out of the waitlist, you have no other option for the day. It's frustrating when you're dressed in yoga clothes anxiously watching your emails to see if you got in. Wait list denials come an hour before class starts. So you're all dressed up with no place to go when you get denied... which is 90% of the time for me. It's a great place but there aren't enough classes on the weekend to meet the demand. Would also love to see noon/lunch time classes during the week.

Alright y'all I have decided to embark on a new me!! Those that know me know I love food and love…read moreto eat but in hopes of a healthier me I started attending yoga classes. I have attended classes on Sunday mornings so when I talk about my experience it's for Sunday mornings bright and early, gotta love those annoying morning people(yep that's me ‍) So when I attended my first class I was a little nervous hell im no spring chicken anymore, I'm old my joints should be oiled for flexibility but what the hell let's give it a try... I walked in and found I wasn't the only old one lol no offense there were people of all ages. I found my little spot for my mat in the back by the corner. I always like being in the back so no one can see me and how awkward i look with some of these poses but secretly in the back of my mind I'm also wondering if my cheap Walmart Yoga pants are showing my ass every time I bend over or as my son calls it "going invisible" Lord help the person doing downward facing dog behind me and happen to look up and see more than they bargained for ‍!! So I'm getting into the poses the instructor has now succeeded in making me feel relaxed forgetting all my insecurities. She is wonderful love love the instructor!! I can go on and on but let me get to the review great place it's clean, accepting, judgement-free, reasonably priced ($10) a class and a starting place to become one with you‍

A variety of equipment if you're a body builder; only downfall is plastic weights & no plate racks…read more(all the plates are on the machines) so if it's busy you have to take plates from other peoples' machines. There's a "grass" area with rope & I think kettlebells, a calisthenics type room with bars/TRX/weighted balls/etc. Pool, saunas, quality tanning beds (and standup), upstairs & downstairs stretching/yoga areas, a separate cardio room with a big movie screen, a cycling/spin room, 2 big rooms with mirrors, big locker rooms. The main cardio area is upstairs - treadmills, elliptical, rowers, 4 stairmasters, stair steppers, & I think I saw a Jacobs ladder. The cardio area is great because it's spread out & you don't feel like people are watching you or on top of you. As most gyms, it's primarily men, except here nobody talks to you or bothers you or stares.

The water sauna has only ONE good side for the past ten years. I've been coming to Yoga Masala on and off for the past 3 years and it's definitely one of the best…read moreyoga places around town. I've only been to their main location which is on Bluff Road and 10 minutes away from the Vista area. It's in a stand alone building and as soon you enter, you see a small giftshop and a front desk which an employee warmingly greets you. They have a men and women's area that you can change and some small cubbies that you can use to store personal belongings in. The main yoga room is fairly large and can fit probably around 30 or so people at max capacity. My favorite class that they have is hot yoga. As soon as you enter, you feel the heat and high humidity against your face. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners though, as it can be challenging to do some of the poses and deal with the heat. Be sure to bring a water bottle and keep hydrated. At the end of every class, they give you a cold lavender towel to put on your face which is really refreshing. My favorite instructor is Kyra and her classes fill up quickly so I recommend signing up online for the class to save some time and to show up at least 15 minutes before the class starts so that you can have a good spot. As I attend USC, I only have to pay $9 for each class so it's very affordable for students. There's a small fee to rent their yoga mats so I recommend bringing your own. They also have water bottles for sale at the front. I recommend this place whether you're an expert to yoga or just beginning!
