Decent choice for pilates but not a friendly atmosphere or a pretty studio by any means. Unfortunately some of the instructors can be condescending in class if you're new and are doing something wrong or confused. They don't care to ask if anyone is new at the beginning of the class or get to know anyone's names. I found Stephanie to be very helpful and kind, while Heather was indifferent and condescending. read more

Club Pilates has been a game changer for me. Finally exercise I love to do and look forward to. It's like doing ballet lying down. I studied dance for many years and have done all sorts of exercise but this combination of core work and strength training has given me better balance, better posture, better motivation...I just bought a spin bike to compliment the Pilates which isn't very aerobic. And I love that wherever you travel there are studios to attend and you are assured the same system will be followed. I love it! read more

This has nothing to do with the instructors, who were great. I have an issue with business that try to rip people off, and I think that's what happened to me here. I'm relocating out of the area and needed to cancel my membership. So I first tried to see if I could do it on the app, but (shocking) there's no option to do it online. So I called the studio and asked what I need to do. After multiple emails to the GM and still no response, I called back. Still no word. Finally I contacted someone else in management and he must have gotten the GM to finally take care of it. Surprise surprise, in the meantime I was charged for another month. I expressed my frustration with them and they made no offer to refund the charge. I don't think it's a nice way to do business. Either ignoring my emails, or not checking the business email for weeks. Either way, not cool. Regarding the response from the manager, I contacted you 12/26. Conveniently you didn't respond until after I had been billed again. Using the holidays as an excuse is a little silly. I don't get to shirk my responsibilities at work because of "the holidays." How nice that you are able to take a week off. read more

BEWARE!!!! While the instructors and classes are great, their business practices are not only unfriendly to customers they are downright unethical. Here are the details of what just happened to me, a long time loyal customer of this business. Jul 21 - they attempted to charge my credit card for the July 21-August 21 month of classes and it didn't go through (simple canceled credit card situation, needed to update the number), week of July 24 - they started contacting me attempting to get a new card number, I responded to them in person as I was taking classes and via email that I will be in touch soon to update the number, July 27 - they suddenly CANCELED all of my booked classes, thereby completely screwing me out of the ability to actually receive any of the services they were trying to charge me for and as I am trying to work with them on an amicable and fair solution given their actions prevented me from actually receiving any of the services (their classes book up weeks in advance) on August 1 - they send a debt collector after me who calls me on my cell phone demanding that I pay for not 1 but 2 months of services (per the contract, they need 30 days notice for cancelation) that I WILL NOT RECEIVE because THEY canceled all of my classes!!! The debt collector threatens to negatively impact my credit report if I don't pay up for SERVICES I HAVE NOT and WILL NOT RECEIVE. It hasn't even been two full weeks since the first card declined. I felt obligated to post this so that potential customers are aware of how they will be treated. read more

I'm so happy that I discovered Club Pilates in Darien! I've tried so many other Pilates studio in NYC and none of them allow you to take unlimited daily classes with a monthly membership like Club Pilates does. For that reason alone, I was convinced and love CP! The Darien location is large in size and accommodate up to 12 reformers. All the staff and instructors are super friendly and topnotch! I totally recommend it those looking for a good Pilates reformer experience. read more

Have been taking classes here for two months now and at first I was hesitant given that Pilates has a stereotype of being mostly for women. I have to say that I've had an eye opening experience and core (especially my back) has gotten stronger as a result of all the instructors. Mollie was the first to make me feel welcome even though I was the only male in the class and a novice. Through more classes, I felt a difference and have seen the difference in golf game. I have more stability and can make my shoulder turns better. I highly recommend this studio and will continue to come. The studio is always clean and welcoming. I usually get bored by fitness but I find each class to be different and challenging. Thanks ladies and Scott! read more

Club Pilates is the best!! I consistently look forward to going. It's not like a gym membership where you join and then don't go. There are classes every hour most days so easy to fit in. All the classes are different and never get boring. The instructors are all great and have their own style of teaching and all different types of classes (cardio, reformer flow etc). The app is easy to schedule classes and plan out your week. Parking is easy. Can't say enough good things about it!! read more

This is the worst managed Club Pilates I have ever visited. I normally love the Club Pilates studios, but definitely not this one! I have personally experienced instructors "winging the instruction", rules changing overnight without properly communicating the new rules to all members, and preferential treatment shown to the managers friends. I highly recommend that you find another suitable studio or even try a SLT (Strengthen Lengthen Tone) studio. Kaia Yoga in Darien is a great alternative too! read more

I have been a member of Club Pilates, Darien since it opened. Mollie, the manager was so welcoming and knowledgeable about pilates. She does a great job running this location and is also an excellent teacher. The front staff is always helpful and friendly. There are a wide variety of teachers so you can find which ones work the best for you. I have found several great teachers, so it is always easy to find a class that fits my schedule. I really look forward to my pilates workouts and I have definitely developed a stronger core which has helped my back, and my posture. So glad Club Pilates came to Darien!! read more

I love club pilates Darien! I took an intro class with the manager Mollie and I was hooked!!! I signed up for the unlimited and now go almost 6 days a week, and I am not someone who would ever go to the gym (I hate working out, it always makes me feel gross....but NOT pilates). The instructors are awesome and they really know what they are talking about. I have been to over a dozen classes in the short time I have been a member and I have yet to take the same class twice (there are over 500 exercises you can do on the reformer machine and then there is also all of the other equipment). I truly love going to the studio, and I now find myself constantly checking the class schedule to see when I can go again. Pilates has changed my life and has made me feel so much better about myself! If you can't tell, I LOVE IT! Thank you Club Pilates Darien!!!!! read more

Club Pilates has changed my world. I injured my low back this past August and I have been unable to participate in many of my favorite activities. I tried Club Pilates because I had read that Pilates is often used as physical therapy for back injuries. I was comforted by the hours of training the instructors must complete to be part of Club Pilates. I have taken 4 classes in the first week of joining and my back feels great. I modify certain exercises and the teachers expect and instruct me to modify due to my injury. I appreciate the attitude that this workout belongs to me, I'm not competing with anyone else. I am so pleased to feel that I'm working my muscles again while protecting my back. If you are thinking about trying a session here I can't recommend it highly enough. I felt no pressure to join after my first class-you are just given membership information. Up to you to decide. read more
