Of course, while visiting Amsterdam for the 1st time (10/04/2023-10/07/2023) a visit to the Red…read moreLight District (RLD) was on our itinerary as a must-do/see. For those who don't know, both prostitution and marijuana are legal in Amsterdam and the Red Light District is most known for being the area that the sex workers are at BUT surprisingly the RLD had so much more to see than the ladies in each of their windows. Since I'm such a kind human ;), here are a few helpful tidbits about the Red Light District - -- Great location to visit during the day and at night time. During the day there are a few erotic shops and museums (Red Light Secrets Museum) to visit in the area and great to just walk around the area, which is so beautiful w/ the canals and the architecture of all the buildings. The area is very clean (see pics included in this review) and felt very safe both during the day and at night. You will see the very beautiful ladies in their windows while walking through the RLD but please be courteous and respectful and NOT take any pics or gawk at them. At night the area lights up in red lights everywhere, giving the "red light" effect (see pic included in this review) and it is really cool to see. -- Public Restrooms : There are public restrooms (called toilets by those in Amsterdam) but most charge a fee to use them ($1-$3) and you can pay using ApplePay. There is a public toilet called the "Sexy Loo" located in RLD that was very interesting to use w/ sexy videos on the doors in the ladies toilets (see videos included in this review) & I actually didn't mind paying the $3 fee to use these toilets because they are very clean & I just loved getting to look at the "eye candy" while using the loo ;)). To sum it up, I definitely recommend a visit to the Red Light District to explore and sightsee & yes, you might see a few xxx-rated things but just remember.."what happens in Amsterdam, stays in Amsterdam"! ;) Thank you Amsterdam for showing us a dam good time! Till next time, Rebecca

The Red Light District is absolutely an area worth seeing in Amsterdam. The level of care and…read morerespect that is provided for sex workers is eye-opening and wonderful. We strolled through the streets and watched as all genders took to their windows for the evening under the glow of the red light. We passed many related shops and businesses. Though it is widely acceptable and for the most part extremely safe, when we were there a campaign was going on to have the district removed from the city centre. Fortunately as I write this, it still remind intact. It's a major tourist attraction and it just seems silly to remove it for that reason alone. It was a liberating experience to be able to take it all in.

Then it's 300 to take a girl of your choice to a private room with a bed and jacuzzi. We didn't use the jacuzzi other than just to wash off at the end. We sat and talked for 10minutes and then did the deed. Overall a fun intimate experience but the problem is just the price. You can have sex for just 100 in the red light district (be warned there are scammers mainly at night that say it's 100 and then when you are naked they say it's 400 more or leave no money back, best time to go to rld is afternoon). So 350 is overpriced but at least you get what you honestly pay for. Also once in the private room she starts talking about 300 euro extras like kissing as if 350 euros wasn't enough in the first place. Overall good but just very pricey and kinda weird but if you have tons of money then go enjoy yourself here.

THE GOOD: - An absolutely unique experience unlike any show we have seen. - Very safe feeling environment - fantastic staff friendly, helpful and no upsell BS - THE PERFORMERS were great and each one brought amazing energy doing whatever it was they were doing. THE BAD: - while clean, the theatre feels a little dated. Worthy of 4 but not 5 stars. - incredibly the show left us feeling less "sexually charged" than we expected. Had buzzing toys and erotic thoughts when we entered, but the vibe was about watching, definitely not participating. And while we've been in experience where watching others left us "hot and ready" - this is NOT that. Overall, a fantastic Amsterdam experience that we think any couple who isn't offended watching others being intimate should experience.

It was $50 per couple and that includes drinks up to $50. The only reason that I don't give this place 5 stars is because I think they need to make the rules more clearer, or strict for single males. As a couple we were fine with people watching us fool around. But the single men made it uncomfortable, one guy literally sat down next to us and started touching me which made my boyfriend and I uncomfortable. We got up and left to find somewhere else to be sexual. In my opinion as a man you should never even get that close to another mans girlfriend while they are being intimate without permission or invitation. Everything else about this place was awesome except that part. I really enjoyed being able watch other couples enjoy themselves as well.

This is going to be long, but it's going to (hopefully) stop you from going to one of the worst…read moreclubs ever. I have been to a few other clubs and know what to expect from a place like this. Let's take it from the beginning. I get there and I think it's strange that they don't ask for my phone so they can lock it up. They have done that at other clubs I've been at and I think it's a really good thing to do to make people more comfortable. But okay, it's nothing that I thought any more about in that moment. They also didn't give me a tour around the place. From the beginning there's this guy talking to me, touching me inappropriately and even following me around when I'm not showing any interest back. I eventually have to spell out that I'm not interested, but he still doesn't get it. Later I hear that he has been behaving the same way with a few other women, so I tell a man that's working there and all he says is "I can't kick him out, he paid." I was shocked! So I kept telling him that he had to do something, that I felt uncomfortable and that this is not acceptable behavior in line with the rules on their website. And he says he can't do anything because he can't go away from his booth. I keep nagging and eventually he says I can tell the bartenders and they could give him a warning. The bartender seemed to be very nonchalant about it too. Not sure what happened after that. The night I was there there was not supposed to be any single men allowed, only couples and single women. It said that clearly on club paradise's website and on the event page. And I liked that. It's a very different dynamic when there's lots of guys. And there was an overwhelming amount of single men there. Would have been more okay if they were well-behaved, but they were all aggressive creeps. So I asked a woman working there about it. She also had a very poor attitude, didn't apologize or anything for the wrong info and said that no one was coming so they had to let the men in. I was in a private playroom with someone and we locked the door. Throughout the time we were there, several men kept knocking aggressively on the door and getting close to the glass doors so they could peek in. When we got out they were just hanging out outside the room as if they were waiting for us to open. This club and their employees apparantly let's people behave in whichever way they want without any consequences. The rules on consent, respect etc. on their website are only there to look pretty.
