We had an urge for Mexican, and while this is not Mexican like in the States, it was not bad. We got the chips and queso fondito with salsa (and lots of cheese; quite good although spicy) as an appetizer. (No free chips and salsa, like in the States.) For the main course I had "pollo alla messicana" (chicken legs with peppers and onions) and my wife got a chicken burrito. Her burrito came with a side of fries, which is different, and my chicken came with baked potato wedges. No rice and refried beans around here. Portions were generous, service was good and the waiter spoke enough English. My one criticism was that both the queso and my chicken dish were a little heavy on the jalapenos. Still, glad we went, and worth a try if you find yourself in Nicolosi. read more
