They groom my dogs perfectly as standard poodles should be. Also, love that they stick to the schedule.

Boarded our two greyhounds for a week while on vacation. We returned to find our dogs suffering from weight loss, dehydration, and almost identical injuries on both hind legs. Dehydration was blamed on time spent on patio. IF true, a competent staff would have recognized a problem and taken corrective action. It's clear no corrective action was taken. The injuries were blamed on the time spent sleeping on a hard surface. We were told the dogs would have cots to sleep on, but because they supposedly had a potty accident, the cots were removed. Nonetheless, the injuries appear to be cuts/scrapes, not pressure wounds. Again, a competent staff would have noticed a problem and taken corrective action. If there is something in the kennel causing injuries, why has it not been addressed? We received NO COMMUNICATION regarding injuries, not even when picking up our dogs. I guess they hoped we would not notice. We received NO COMMUNICATION regarding weight loss/dehydration, but I guess they would have to first be observant enough to notice a problem. We paid to have our dogs taken care of but all they seem to have received was neglect. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Club Canine is a great place. My Sophie loved it there. They take Great care of her. I have done daycare and lodging.

My 8 month old puppy spent 9 hrs here and when I picked him up I was told the dogs only go out twice a day for about an hr each time. That leaves my puppy alone in a crate 7 hrs. The reason I sent him to doggie daycare was to play with other dogs. It's nice the first visit is free but we won't be back . read more

I have been very satisfied with the service! I am greeted each morning as well as Moxie when we arrive . I feel everyone listens well if I express any concerns. The facility is always exceptionally clean and well maintained. read more

Well just after staying there two nights on fourth . My two dogs developed kennel cough Even though they are vaccinated they need to have open house to get my confidence up read more

I have been taking my dogs there for 3 years. This past weekend I had to take my bully Elvis to the ER vet costing me $800.00 to discover he had kennel cough. After calling Club Canine in Granite Falls it was disclosed to me that there had been dogs there with kennel cough. No paper posted on the door letting customers know, no phone calls, this is a highly contagious disease and there are older dogs that go there. Money is more important than a dogs health. I sent the manager an email 1024/23 no answer as of yet. I don't expect one either. Needless to say Elvis and Gigi no longer goes there anymore! read more

The Staff was warm, friendly , and professional. My dog seemed exhausted when he returned, but happy. I am hoping this is from play. The only suggestion I would have is a web cam or daily pictures we could access to check in our fur babies. My son's camp has a service like that and we love seeing him having a great time. I have already booked another week of boarding and I am considering some daycare options. I would recommend them! read more

Although my dogs haircut was good after coming here, 4 days later he got super sick which ended up in a $400 vet visit to find out he had kennel cough. He's been vaccinated but still caught it. Had to have been from his trip to club canine- only place he had been around other dogs. Called club canine and they couldn't help. read more

Daisy, the lab needed to be kenneled for 5 days. This is the first time away from home that long and the first time at Club Canine. After the first meet and greet the day before, I felt so much more at ease leaving her. The facilities are great. Neat and clean and very organized. And I loved the fact that they want to make sure your dog is going to work out ok there. Called to check on her and they gave me a report of how she was doing and knew exactly who she was without having to look it up. But they also have notes on her about how she's doing and acting and eating. I felt like they were really doing a great job looking after her. Picked her up today and she looked happy and well. Customer service excellent. Facilities excellent. I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Club Canine has been my go-to place for grooming and training. Two of my dogs have been through their obedience classes and I'm getting ready to take another one this spring. They have been able to trim the nails of my very frightened, very large lab with no problem at all... and he still likes to go back there! I have known the owners since they opened and would highly recommend them! read more

I took my dog into the grooming part of the club. This was the fifth time that he had been there. I always tell them when I bring him in what I want and don't want them to do. I never want his eyelashes cut because he is a Shih Tzu I love his lashes long. On the third grooming they cut one off and left the other long.Odd looking so I cut the other one. On the last visit which was on August 12th 2021I went in with him and told them, don't cut any length off of his ears and tail because they were cut last time with out me asking so his tail was already short but was ok. I ask them to pull the hair out of his ears, not to release his anal glands because he is only 2 years old. No way of telling if they do that or not. They did pull some of the hair out of his ears but not enough. Got him home and his tail was so short and cut very uneven on the tail. Looks like I did it. I am by far no groomer to say the least. I was furious because he had a beautiful long tail now it looks like a big mess. After I got over being mad I was upset because they did not even try to tell me what happened to his tail and why it looks like it does. He will never go back again. I know it is just hair and it will grow back it was the way they handled it or in this case didn't handle it. Rita L read more

I am rating a 3 out of 5 because the place was very clean and the staff was really nice and informative. However my dog was boarded 3 nights and 4 days and when I picked her up she smelt like she had been sitting in her own feces for awhile which they did say she used the bathroom in the kennel so they were not cleaning it up in time for it to still smell so bad. This also tells me that they did not take her out of her kennel as needed because she has never used the bathroom in her kennel at home. she also had irritating spots on her stomach from sitting in it for so long. Then on top of that they told me she did fine her whole stay and not long after we get home she starts coughing and ends up with kennel cough. She is vaccinated and the vet said she had to have gotten it days before I picked her up because it sounded really bad. They never mentioned that she was coughing and sneezing which upsets me because they obviously weren't paying attention to my puppy enough to see that she had kennel cough and her cough is pretty loud. read more

Not worth the money they charge. Was quoted one thing over the phone, even after they knew her weight and coat type, then when I brought her in they changed it. Also didn't fully complete their job, her ears were still dirty and the de-shedding treatment that they were so proud of and recommended SUCKS. She said the hair would fall out pretty badly for two days and it would be over, but it's been three weeks and it has covered my whole house, 10x what it used to be. Didn't even trim out the fur between her paws either, and I paid $100 for that? Not worth it at all read more

My dog loves Club Canine - there is nothing more important than that! Daisy attends camp regularly and is so excited to be greeted, by name, at the door. She can't wait to spend time with the staff and her friends. She loves play time and I love the training sessions. She receives regular practice on sit, stay, and her manners at the door. When she needs a bath, the groomers take great care of her and she loves to get a fabulous bandanna. When I travel, she stays for boarding. She has the option to attend regular camp or receive some special love a the front desk. Daisy has also completed training classes with Traci. They are well organized and a lot of fun too. We both recommend Club Canine! read more

In searching for a good safe clean environment to take my Great Pyrenees mix ( 80lbs) I came across Club Canine. The outside looks great but when I went in and asked for a tour I was told it was by appointment only and was handed a list of admission requirements. They require a $30 evaluation fee and the requirements for admission read like a plastic toy dog! I do not trust anyone that will not let you tour the facilitates without an appointment. That is code for we have something to hide so let's say it is a liability issue. If it is a first class facility what do they have to hide? So I called to make an appointment...was told a manager would have to call me back . What is up with this? The fees on the face of it seem to be reasonable , but it is all of the hidden fees that get you. They call it hotel rates... you take your pet in at noon on a Saturday and if you can't pick him up by 10 am on Sunday it is a two night fee not a one night fee. REALLY? Club Corruption would be a better name for this facility. Warning- warning -stay away. I will continue to drive further to Statesville Animal Hospital where the care and staff are first rate! read more
