I have been to 4 Corners many times and called in order more times thannI can count. This place has a great atmosphere and if you are a John Wayne lover this is a must for you. The owner has so many pictures it will amaze you. The awesome decore isn't the only great think about this place the food is delicious and greatly priced. We were going to a show in Topeka and stopped here on a friend's recommendation. It's sort of in the middle of nowhere but if you follow directions on the Yelp App you cannot miss it. I ordered prime rib and wife ordered chicken fried steak and they were cooked just right and tasted great! The side dishes were generous and compliment the meals well. The parking lot was gravel but it's easy to park in it. The employees where pleasant and offers advice on menu choices. We will eat here again! read more

Great food, great prices, decent service, some of the employees are a bit rude & snappy. However the restaurant is in serious need of a good cleaning!! The carpet are completely filthy. Looks like they haven't cleaned in months, maybe years? Could be a wonderful restaurant if they hire a good cleaning crew! Drove 40 min for dinner tonight. We have been once before, a few years ago for lunch which was pretty good. Just a burger and some fried premade appetizers. Tonight was the hicken fried steak buffet. We figured it would be faster since the place was pretty busy for a Wwdnesday evening plus they had 1 server for the whole place so we figured it woukd help her too. So, to the food. Starting out with the salad bar. It was mediocre. Shredded iceberg lettuce, beets, butterscotch pudding, eggs, cheese, a couple of salads and pickles and jello on it. Kind of odd but edible. Then onto the hot food buffet. The chicken fried steak was freshly made in house and was very flavorful and tender. You could eat it with a fork. The gravy was good although you can tell it was premade. Rolls were good although they were premade as well. The mashed potatoes weren't very good. Definitely from a box. My spouse liked the green beans. I had the corn and it was horrible. Had no flavor. I even tried putting a little bit of butter, sugar, salt, pepper anything I can think of and it still was edible. The buffet was only $10.25 so we still worth the money and we definitely got full. we had to wait quite a bit to get our bill because like I said, there was only one server in the whole place. I went up and stood by the cash register and the Buser said she'd have to go find the server and get my ticket and after standing there about 10 minutes, I went back to the table to wait. We paid her in cash right when she gave us the bill so that she would not have to come back. This place is cash only but there is an ATM there. We didn't hate it, but we would probably order something else next time. read more

We had a party of 6. 3 ribeyes medium rare, cooked perfectly and delicious. Chicken fried steak, Rooster Cogburn chopped steak and kids menu chicken strips were all great. My granddaughter said the chicken strip were "the best." Service and atmosphere were great. Thank you for a fun family dinner! Went there with family for Fathers Day. My choice since I was looking for good prime rib. Was greatly disappointed. Two of us ordered the prime rib. It was tough with no flavor whatsoever. Daughter ordered Salmon and said it was very dry and not good. Had not been there before and probably wont go back. read more

Wife and I went for the Friday prime rib special. This place is as quirky as the other reviews indicate, but for us, quirky is good. Let's start with the positive. My wife ordered coffee which she said was excellent. Unfortunately, things deteriorated a bit from there. The dinners come with a salad bar which was adequate but not outstanding. She ordered her rib medium rare and I ordered medium. When served, hers was clearly more done than mine. We agreed that both cuts were very tough and chewy with more gristle and membrane than most. Also, both were drowned in au jus, which some folks prefer, but I prefer it served on the side (a good rib doesn't need it). The typical rib flavor was noticeably absent. The baked potatoes were a plus. We may give them another try sometime, but not anytime soon. read more

We eat at Four Corners at least once a month and always take out-of-town friends and family there so that they can experience it. When you pull up to their building, you get the idea that they might appreciate The Man, John Wayne. However, until you set foot indoors you have no idea how much so. You'll have to go there to understand what I'm referring to. The food is centered around steaks, hamburgers, some seafood, and various forms of potatoes and gravy. This is the type of food you expect to see in No Where, Kansas. (Well, maybe with the exception of the seafood.) You seat yourself. You can play Keno while eating. There is a full bar with pool tables sectioned off. This bar appreciates everyone from your local clergy men to bike club members. The waitstaff is quick and easy to work with. read more

Great place to eat. Not a fancy joint, but the food is great tasting at a great price. Log cabin atmosphere. Busy because of word of mouth, same owner for over 20 yrs. Our waitress Deb has worked here for over 10 yrs., great waitress. Prime rib was fantastic and ribeye was excellent. Great big baked potato...nice and fluffy cooked perfectly and Texas toast was yummy. Salad bar was lacking but I didn't come here for salad. My mother and I highly recommend this place. Serves breakfast daily and buffet on Sundays. FYI: cash only, no credit cards. They do have a ATM in house. Went here again for burgers and chicken fried steak.....both absolutely delicious. read more

I went with some family who are older than I am. The decor is a bit aged and I'm not interested in John Wayne. I hate to say it, but the potted fake flowers in front make the place seem cheap. Also, the ice machine in full view of their customers was left uncovered for most of our visit. There were two signs that were a bit insulting. One said "unattended children will be sold into slavery." Since when is slavery funny? The other, though I can't remember exactly what it said, essentially made it clear that dishes are not made to order. I thought this was a joke until I ordered the bacon cheese burger. I was never asked how I wanted it and it came nearly well done and dry. The whole meal was bland, though not terrible. The fries seemed home cut, but some were overly fried while others were soggy (maybe they chop them then freeze them? Yuck!) If your looking for aged decor with assembly line food, this place is for you. Otherwise, try something else. read more

Club Four Corners food stinks of mediocrity and white supremacy. They must have pulled the steak from the freezer, put it on the grill, flipped it over once and served it to me. No seasoning and definitely not medium well. They had a sign posted in the front that said, Unattended children will be sold for salvery. I went there for the first time, and was very disappointed. I ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich, and onion rings. The pork tenderloin was a frozen patty, tasted like it had been frozen for a long time. The onion strings were cold, and soggy. The onion on the sandwich was a brown color. We had a great meal at Four Corners this evening. It was Sunday Buffet night with fried chicken, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn and a full salad bar. Everything as delicious. The salad bar was fresh and adequately stocked. The hot items were pleasing in appearance and served hot. Every restaurant has a theme and this one happens to be The Duke. The decor is tastefully done with pictures and other items in tribute to John Wayne. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very good, friendly and efficient. I remember reading somewhere that when John Wayne died he had approximately 25 pounds of waste found in his colon. Why is this relevant? I can only assume that John Wayne ate at Club 4 Corners because he was plastered everywhere on their dining room walls! Tacky Decor ! I think so! I made the mistake of eating at this establishment. I felt like I was eating at a gas station. It was absolutely filthy. To top it off, the all you can eat chicken was not very good. The mashed potatoes were not home-made. Can we say out of a box?
