I asked if we could get grits instead of hash browns and our server said sure. We split the breakfast and it was more than enough food for splitting. The coffee came right out, hot and fresh. The food came out shortly after. I can't say enough about how delicious it was. We will definitely stop here again because our son lives in Nashville so we will take this route often. Second visit I decided pancakes may be a better option, but when they brought them out they were hard and rubbery. This time I mentioned the previous incident and was told to specify making them fresh upon request, otherwise they remain under the warmer which makes them hard and rubbery while still warm. Makes sense. This most recent visit with family, two of us ordered the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was so watery it soaked into the biscuit making it soggy. The usually very tasty home fries were simply cooked potatoes with no seasoning (they've always been very flavorful) and the over medium eggs had runny whites. The coffee had a burnt taste which is not the norm. It's usually hot, fresh and tastes better than the average cafe coffee. The recent inconsistency in the quality of the food is really disappointing. Willing to give it another try in the future, but definitely taking a break for a spell.

We had the banana pudding and peach cobbler and an ice cream. The ice cream was purchased separately, so we got it immediately. But it took at least 20 minutes for the pudding and cobbler. At one point, I jokingly said to my daughter "are they making it right now"...and they I think they were. The vanilla wafers on the sides and bottom were crunchy, not soggy. It is one of the better banana puddings I've had lately. Definitely recommend it! The cobbler was warm but not what I was looking for. They have a ton of local made products and the bathroom was very clean. Their sign advertised Farm to Table. If we get out that way again I would definitely give their menu a try.
