We would absolutely recommend many of the instructors at the Hilton Garden Inn, Santa Rosa…read morelocation. We've been extremely pleased with all the instructors (Ernie, Elanor, Faith and Ellie) who have been helping teach our son. We've observed how they make it so easy for newbies or kids afraid of water to get comfortable with water over a short period of time. They are super attentive to how the kids swim and their form and channel this feedback in a way the kids can understand so it can be fixed before it's too late. Their feedback to our son has been spot on and is timely and so well received by him because it's supported by positive reinforcement. My eight year old son just loves learning from Ernie every session and looks forward to his lessons after months of already attending British swim school. Absolutely recommend!

I am a regular at 24 Hour Fitness for the last 25 years and on a Wednesday afternoon, I was using…read morethe spa which includes the hot tub the swimming pool. I was sitting on a bench resting in between laps and going in the sauna. I was also observing the swim class, which I was highly considering enrolling my daughter into the class as I was observing the class two of the instructors approached me and asked me to move for no reason other than they said that they felt uncomfortable with me sitting on a bench that was close to the pool, not even close to where they were swimming I think I have answered my own question. This is probably not the class for me to enroll my daughter with this kind of behavior, I would highly recommend you read previous yelp ratings. I was really disappointed at their attitude, and I also notified the manager of the facility with this unacceptable behavior towards members of 24 Hour Fitness and clients of the British swim.

Ive had a family membership here for almost 10yrs. My wife has been way more consistent thanks to…read morethe childcare program that they have. It's available daily for up to two hours per child. Theres one downstairs for younger children and one upstairs for older kids. They also have parents night out events that let you drop your kids off for pizza and movies. They have lots of options to choose between for all types of fitness levels and interests. They have a great weight room area and equally great machine area, they have yoga rooms, stationary bike room, a rock climbing wall and much more. The recreational pool is heated, lap pool isn't and the kiddie pool isn't either but it's a great cold plunge in the winter. I usually hit that then the sauna before my workouts. They have a basketball court inside and pickle ball courts outside in the back which always has action on them. Theres so much more they offer but I still have not had the chance to try it all out. Their juice/ snack bar is amazing. The soups and wraps are fire!! I highly recommend this place, especially if you have kids. The staff is great and the place is clean. Can't think of anything negative about this place to be honest.

I was definitely able to complete my workout, I just had to compromise a bit on some of the weights because a lot were being used. I wouldn't say it's run down, but it doesn't feel like a new, fresh gym. It feels really bright inside and gives kind of a hospital cafeteria vibe in the locker rooms. I know that doesn't really make sense, but it's what I thought about when I was in there. , so I guess it makes sense to me. The staff was helpful and friendly, everything seemed to be in good, working order, and it was overall a fine gym. Definitely nicer than the 24 hour fitness in my hometown, but nowhere near as nice as, say... Equinox. It's a "get her done" type of gym, and, I don't know about you, but I am always excited to be DONE with a workout. I did think it was funny that they were selling GIANT cookies in the cafe in the club. Seems counterintuitive to being fit and healthy, but whatever. Don't get me wrong, I definitely LOVE a good, giant cookie, I just think they should have healthier options. And maybe they do, but I was blinded by the giant cookie and kept walking right. on. by.

Sergey, the owner, is a serious athlete who once performed in the famed Moscow Circus & has also trained many serious athletes -- including a couple of Olympians. Yet, he also creates an easy rapport with children, hires excellent coaches & staff, & believes that gymnastics, movement arts & circus arts should be healthful & FUN. His programs are rigorous & disciplined, but also accessible & enjoyable. Sergey also continues to maintain a clientele of child & adult athletes to whom he provides one-on-one training. I especially enjoy the circus arts component of Sergey's curriculum. Watching kids juggle various objects, twirl plates on sticks, & tumble through hoops is a joy to onlookers & also for them. The facility -- a former warehouse space on Mill Street in Healdsburg -- is bright, spacious, & chock-full of fun stuff & gymnastics equipment. Parents who need to occupy their infants & toddlers while their older children take a class can climb up the stairs to the loft with the little ones for a lively assortments of mats, jungle gyms, equipment & toys designed for tiny bodies & hands. Prices are reasonable. Drop-in is $15 per session, but lessons are only $10 per session if you pay in advance before the beginning of the month.

I was there over the weekend for a small child's birthday party, and everyone had a blast... even the timid kids. I don't wish I was 6 again, but if I happened to be 6, I'd be all over this. A surprisingly small amount of blood was shed, and the guy running the place was great with managing everything and getting everyone involved. Even if you don't live in Healdsburg, check it out as a party location.
