It was the perfect combination of a nap on there numerous provided hammocks. There's always some festivity going on to choose from but we went our own route. Happy hour is available even on the weekends and make sure to grab some bites. There are a couple of fast food places around just in case and local restaurants but all you really need is here at the resort. This company is a SCAM. I rented a tent, tables, chairs, linens, chandeliers, basically everything…read moreneeded to host my wedding/vow renewal. I contracted this company in March 2021, where she did have an attitude from time to time. I at the time just thought she was under alot of stress and gave her as much time as I possibly could, which gave me severe anxiety due to having to wait weeks upon weeks for responses on the planning of the event. I asked for a final invoice about a month before the event date 11/13/21. At this point we had already paid her a deposit. I waited and waited for her to provide me with the updated invoice as we had to minimize the party drastically due to COVID (Which she made fun of us the day before the event for losing so many guest) We spoke to her 4 days before the event, she explained she would send over the updated invoice that night. We didnt receive anything, She also said that she would have the items delivered and set up on Friday the 12th, the day before the event. On Friday we called and called, which she made every excuse in the book blaming her employees the entire time. She said she would have the party rentals delivered early morning as the event was at 5pm. The day of the wedding we called and called, NUMEROUS times. At first she was answering and blaming "her guys" for not listening to her. She yelled on the phone "at her guys" but she still wasnt giving us a time she would be arriving. At around 3pm, we started calling her again as we had to start decorating and the DJ was there ready for set up along with all the food. She didn't answer, we called and called and called, she then started sending us straight to voicemail so we used someone elses phone, which magically was not sent to voicemail right away until she realized that it was our party calling from different numbers and then those would go straight to voicemail, which of course was full. She then answers the next day like nothing and we are still waiting on our full refund PLUS what we had to pay for out of pocket. It is now 5 days later, and she gives us the run around EVERY DAY. It only took for me to have my legal counsel friend speak to her with legal FACTS (like theft of over $1,000 being a felony along with possible fraud and breach of contract) Also took for me to ask all of my friends and family to leave her reviews and comments in hopes that she finally pays her dues. I DO NOT REGRET ONE NASTY COMMENT/REVIEW LEFT FOR THIS COMPANY BECAUSE WHAT SHE DID TO US WAS FAR WORSE. HAVE SOME CLASS JACKIE. THE PROBLEM WOULD HAVE BEEN SOLVED IF: 1. THE MINUTE YOU KNEW YOU COULDNT MAKE IT TO THE EVENT YOU LET US KNOW OR ASKED US IF WE COULD PICK UP ALL THE EQUIPMENT AND REMOVED THE DELIVERY AND SET UP FEE FROM OUR COST. WE WOULD HAVE GLADLYYYYYY PICKED UP THE STUFF OURSELVES AND SET UP ON OUR OWN. SO YOU ARE CLEARLY A SCAMMER WHO DOESNT EVEN OWN THE EQUIPTMENT ANYMORE. BECAUSE WORKING WITH WEDDINGS AND BIG EVENTS, YOU WOULD TRY A LITTLE HARDER TO ACTUALLY MAKE IT HAPPEN. IF YOU CONSIDER WHAT YOU DID TRYING, YOU ULTIMATELY FAILED MISERABLY AND YOU NEED TO CONSIDER RETIREMENT OR PROFESSIONALS TO RUN YOUR COMPANY. 2. YOU COULD HAVE ISSUED US OUR FULL REFUND THE FOLLOWING DAY WHEN WE TOLD YOU TO ZELLE IT IMMEDIATELY AS YOU HAD OFFERED TO SEND VIA ZELLE, WHICH WE ALL KNOW TAKES NOT EVEN MINUTES TO COMPLETE AND THERE IS PLENTY OF PAPER TRAIL BEHIND IT. There are no beach towels or ice provided. The "beach" has a silver of sand and the only access is from a small metal ladder off the dock, it's treacherous to navigate. There is no restaurant, no bar, no exercise equipment. This is a bare-necessities stay.

It turned out to be one of our favorite experiences in the Florida Keys. Captain Katie was friendly, accommodating, and made sure that both we and our dogs were comfortable throughout the trip. The boat ride was relaxing, the water at the Marathon Sandbar was beautiful, and we had plenty of time to swim, play in the water, and enjoy the surroundings. Seeing manatees during the excursion made the day even more memorable. What really sets Salty Pup Adventures apart is how genuinely dog-friendly the experience is. Our dogs were not simply allowed on the boat--they were part of the adventure. That made the trip much more enjoyable for us. We highly recommend Salty Pup Adventures for couples, families, dog owners, or anyone looking for a fun private boat tour or sandbar cruise in Marathon and the Middle Florida Keys. We stayed four nights and limited room service is available by request. It's nice to have a living space, not just a hotel room, but the futon was very uncomfortable and stained. No other place to sit. The kitchen area is very small, the microwave was old and rusty. The bathroom is tiny. The windows in all the rooms are very small, which adds to the cramped feeling. We enjoyed having a place to sit outside, but it is in the hall in front of the other rooms, so not private at all. The pool looked clean but it's an old above ground concrete pool. The "beach" is not really a beach at all but there is a sandy spot facing the water with lounge chairs. (I know that description sounds exactly like a beach, but just trust me, it's not what you're picturing.) The parking lot is gravel and has pretty big puddles if it rains. Some of the plusses - the Keys are expensive, so this was the best two bedroom I found for around $250/night in January. They have two paddle boards and two kayaks you can use for free. They have a washer and dryer you can use for free. They include free K cups for their Kuerig coffee maker. I'm not mad that I stayed here but I wouldn't stay again.

Checked the security of window to discover there was nothing secure about it. No lock-slider easily went up and hurricane shutters which were closed, easily opened up. There was tissue of some sort stuffed in the casing around the noisy ac unit. It sounded like bowling was taking place in room above us. Most likely the plastic chairs being slid across floors. Putting in for a complete refund-better happen!
