The delivery was early April because of the pandemic and we understood completely! They said they'd call to set up a delivery time once their manufacturer sent them the couch. The date rolled around and we didn't hear from. We didn't hear from them until we called and they gave us a new delivery date. In May. Okay. Fine. The date rolled around and we didn't hear from them. We called. They told us the couch we ordered was out of stock. Wait, what? You couldn't have told us that when we bought it?? You let us pay for it and didn't even have it?! Crooks. We want our money back and they said no refunds. Ummmm you have to make a sale to refund something. You have our money and that's it. They gave us a June delivery date. Guess what? You notice a pattern going on? The date rolls around. Couch? Nope. Money back? Nope. Can we speak to the owner? Nope- he apparently doesn't speak with customers. WHAT?? What kind of business is this? After they gave us a July delivery date we filed a dispute with our credit card. Within 20 minutes they called us and told us we could pick up our couch by the end of the week. THE END OF THE WEEK! Soooo what's that about? We finally have it and it is a great couch but I'd rather pay double the price than to deal with these loony tunes again. No thanks.

Unlike most mattress stores, this store only sells their own Ohio-made mattresses and no other brands. But after you come here, you might feel like their locally-made mattresses are the best options for you - especially with so much knowledge and friendly employee help. PROS: -So much knowledge to be had here! Despite going to quite a few mattress shops at this point, we learned SO much here that we'd never known before! Since Original Mattress Factory makes all their own mattresses and doesn't sell other brands', it's pretty advantageous for them if they show you how their mattresses are different. The store has SO much knowledge to be had here - to the point that I'd recommend starting here for your mattress shopping - even if you don't plan on buying anything here. They have all the types of foams available in the mattress market as well as how they function in beds. They have cut-open displays of box springs to show how box springs are made and how theirs are different. They have cut-open versions of their mattresses - versus other "large name brands" - on display to show you how they're different. While reading the displays would give you a good bit of information, the true knowledge comes from the employee. -And while I'm at it, that's another "Pro" from shopping here. We were helped by an older, jovial gentleman who seriously knew his shit. He was able to answer every question we had, tell me about various types of foam, explain the pros/cons to each, and gave so much more detail about all of their educational displays. He wasn't pushy though, and when we mentioned their box springs were likely outside of our price range, he said he understood that they may not be for everyone, explained the differences between theirs and others, and said he just wanted us to go into the decision entirely educated. -Store itself is really simple to understand. There's their base line in the various firmnesses, their middle line in the various firmnesses, and the luxury line in the various firmnesses. Each mattress is clearly labeled with one-sided or two-sided and each one is clearly labeled with mattress prices for the various sizes with and without box springs. -Original Mattress Factory easily has the most firm mattress I've ever felt in my life. It was nice to feel such a mattress outside the ordinary. -Easy-to-access store right next to a bunch of food options as well as right next to a Wal-mart. Makes it easy to stop in between other errands or right after lunch. CONS: -Original Mattress Factory doesn't seem to run any sales or specials. The employee told me that the pricing is pretty strongly "What you see is what you will always get". While this means you can't try to "take advantage" of a sale price, it means a lot more leniency with your timeline for shopping too. -They don't offer any type of free delivery. All delivery costs something - whether you buy the base mattress or the best.

So her we go... I bought a fridge from American Freight in August of 2020 not realizing that they were no longer the Sears Outlet. I was told I was buying a new fridge that was returned because of a medium dent on the back side. It was working and cold inside and was $300 cheaper than the competitors. Paid $79 to have it delivered and I thought set up. Fridge shows up and they drop it in my living room, only after arguing because they didn't want to bring it up the 3 steps on my porch and was going to leave it on my walk. So I called my son to help me get it in the kitchen and hook it up. In doing so I realize this is not the fridge I picked out and was in fact a used fridge with spilled moldy food behind the drawers that they taped up to look like new. Plug it in and it doesn't work. Call the same day and they inform me they don't give refunds, only a replacement. I go to the store and see the one I originally thought i was buying. Told them this and was told the sales clerk must have made a mistake. Agreed to the replacement with the original one I looked at, but then had to pay another $79 to have it delivered. Fridge showed up once again and once again it's a different fridge with broke parts inside that didn't work. Went thru the whole process again, but this time the new fridge was nowhere to be found. Found a working one with missing and broke parts inside and then I had to piece it together from three different fridges to get a complete fridge. This time I brought help and took it home with me. I hooked it up and it worked, so I thought OK, I learned my lesson and I will just never go their again. Luckily I bought the extended warranty, Because as I am sitting here a year and a half later, waiting for the repairman to show up for my 14th service call, everyone of which ended up in a fridge full of spoiled items and having to go without a fridge for up to 2 weeks while I'm waiting for a tech to show, I decided to write this review. The repair company has replaced everything that they can think of and each time it works for a little bit before its out again. They have tried to put in for a replacement fridge with Kenmore, but American Freight is listed with all the major manufacturers as do not replace their Appliances. So there you go. Make your own decision if saving $300 dollars is worth all this trouble. For me, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We had no experience buying mattresses, but he gave us a tour, explained how to try them out, what to look for and then recommended we try different mattresses based on our responses. It was a very customized and supported experience. Ultimately our interactions with Craig and the 10 year warranty, with three months trial period made me feel confidant enough to invest in a mattress and base that I loved. I even waited a week to come back and make a final decision and when I walked in Craig remembered everything about our prior visit. My own mattress has not been delivered yet, but I can say my daughter's mattress delivery went incredibly smooth and the delivery people were very friendly, respectful and fast. I will also say, I ended up purchasing my "dream" mattress set, because I was able to finance it with no interest, but I was also impressed with the diversity in price points and the quality of even the most inexpensive Sealy mattresses. I've bought cheaper mattresses online before but they were not the quality of these mattresses and didn't come with this kind of warranty. I could have walked out of there with a great mattress that didn't break the bank, which is what my daughter did.

In addition Lewis and his team accommodated us by delivering our new Tempur-pedic mattresses ahead of their normal schedule. The delivery team was very considerate, wearing shoe coverings, totally cleaning up the packing material, explaining the operation of the remotes, and answering any questions we posed.
