He was patient and explained all of our options in detail to help us make the best decision, rather than guessing what we want. This helped us to find the right balance of value, saving money, and spending more on customizations only where we needed it. Everything moved quickly once we started and they stayed very close to the predicted schedule. Sometimes our house had unwanted surprises for them, and they were able to re-route pipes and electrical or modify the cabinet sizing on-site to make everything work in our space. When they made mistakes they were quick to take responsibility and fix it before proceeding. We've heard so many other horror stories from friends doing remodeling and we were lucky to find Cai Cabinetry. From start to finish, Jianshen and team exceeded our expectations. First, we received multiple 3D renderings reflecting possible configurations. Then we were able to go back and forth with the team to customize as needed. Our space is a bit weird (uneven walls and floors, small space, awkward location of pipes and windows). This project required incredible attention to detail, and Jianshen and team delivered it, visiting our house multiple times to make sure the measurements were right. When it came time for installation, his team was highly skilled and able to make on-the-spot customizations with us to make everything fit perfectly and exactly how we had wanted it. I think what I really want to convey here is not only the fact that the work was done at the highest level of quality and attention to detail, but it was also a pleasure to work with Jianshen and team. Jianshen has a positive, can-do attitude. If you have a unique idea, you can bring it to him and he will likely find a way (and also give you all the details on what the solution will entail). For example, we wanted to restore our 1890s butler pantry - he figured out how to restore some of the original fittings so that the 125+ year old things work like new. We had done a lot of research and consulted multiple experts on this - only Jianshen figured out how to make it work! Jianshen is also incredibly knowledgeable about renovations in general, and we have asked his advice on multiple things beyond cabinets. He is very responsive in communication and hard working. It's hard to find a contractor like that. We would definitely work with him again, and would recommend him to anyone in the area looking to do some remodeling.

After the flood, we faced restoration work, and after frustrating delays, and conversations from "restoration services" that said they could "come close" but actually left more damage in their wake, I stopped crying and decided to call Brad to see if he would be willing to take on this job. They say they will get back to me, or the warranty will call. This never happened until two years into the warranty, and then they were unwilling to help. The white cabinets I purchased are excellent. A baked-on finish. The gray cabinets are another story entirely. I moved into my brand-new home a little more than two years ago. I called into the store soon after moving in because a trash cabinet/drawer had the stain rubbing off after first selling me the spray can, which reflected the finish, which was not a match. They replaced the door and sent me a new one; I said I still had small chips in the stain. Then, they sold me a putty to fix a cabinet stain, but there was no better. One of the installers came and tried. Again, no help. I have had it for two years, and I have called, emailed, and complained. What a joke! The warranty department called for the first time today after years of calling the store and saying the finish is not warranted and they can not provide a stain to match. These are just some of the pictures of the poor finish.
