Just for texture : I get a massage at least once per week. I am a body builder, personal trainer and a therapist myself. I'm licensed in the state of GA. So I understand when someone is training or fairly new. But this was not that. 1. The therapist should not spend 10 min with the drape in place massaging you. 2. The purpose of the initial draped phase is to prepare your muscles for the massage. That should take three to five min. unless you requested longer. My therapist, (female dark hark dark outfit) spent 30 min of a 1 hour total body massage on my back. Note: The largest muscles are glutes, quads, lats, pecs etc. that's where the time should be spent but most people don't like all those muscles massaged, which is why I am clear that I want a total body massage. 3. She spent too much time on my back. (I did not request extra time be spent). 4. I constantly asked her to move on and I even ask the manager to come I the room and explain but she continued to massage my back. 5 This horrible experience cost $55 including tip. (Yes I tipped over 20%) for that experience. 6. The Therapist needs to manage her time better. 7. During the massage of just my back, we used my translator, because I kept asking her to move on but she didn't understand.uneven ask the lady at the front desk to explain and she still move to the next bodypart On my translator she types, "The Massage experience is a shared one". So try to relax. How can I relax when there's 30 min left and she has not even done glutes, arms, legs. On the back side. Unless we are both paying i etc. t's not a shared experience., if she's going to rush through the remaining body parts. 8. There was only 30 left I had not even turned over I get that people may not want pecs, and and quads massages but I told them when I checked in Im a bodybuilder, and I needed total body, except head and feet massaged. She had not massage even done my arms, when would she have time for head and feet. 9. This was a terrible experience and I caution anyone unless you just want a mediocre back massage don't waste your money. 10. This was the final straw, 30 min into it she arms were not down, she preceded to do the rest of my body while draped. Georgia massage training, teaches you how to properly drape and tuck each area to ensure modesty. Unless otherwise requested. Areas should be un draped and tucked properly. When I was in Hong Kong twos weeks prior to this sorry massage. They properly un draped the area to massaged and re draped before moving to next area. This ensures hand to skin contact and you can actually feel the various muscles and contours. My therapist was obviously not licensed in the state of GA. This is something that you all should consider Inlike to try and give other locations a shot be user my usual therapist at (ATL Massage) in Dacula off Brasselton was not available, so I took a chance. My massage therapist no longer available, I specifically asked for someone like her when I booked the appointment. Leah was my therapist. It was truly worthless - after 15 minutes of her doing the exact same strokes over and over without any connection to muscle, I expressed my dissatisfaction. She wasn't able to change what she was doing - superficial mindless repetitive strokes. I ended up cutting my 1 1/2 hour session down to 1 hour. It was truly a terrible experience. Leah actually asked me for a tip while I was paying. It was not worth the $73 I paid.

The location of the business is in a house that they've converted into a spa. I thought the service was great. THe people who worked there were so nice and made me feel really welcomed and relaxed. The massage was very relaxing and I liked that they used the hot stones into the massage and didn't just place them on my back to sit there. The Ionic foot bath was cool and relaxing, but I'm still not sure I understand exactly how it works or if it is really pulling toxins from your body, but the girl who did my foot bath, chi machine & inversion therapy was really sweet and was great at explaining what all the toxins were that were being pulled out. The Chi machine was neat, you lay on your back on a table and place you ankles in this machine that rocks them back and forth. It was neat and I think it helped my posture (it's supposed to help align your spine or help with your posture) but sadly the machine fell off the bed at one point. Then the inversion therapy was just for 5 minutes, and was a different experience for me. The girl operating the machine was really great at doing it slowly so that it wasn't too much of a shock to your body and so all the blood didn't rush to your head. I have back problems, and after the massage and synergistic modalities, my body was much more relaxed and my back felt better and my posture seemed to be better. Overall I would highly recommend them, I just wish they were located closer to Atlanta instead of in Lawrenceville!
