We hired S.Y.E. Photography for our wedding, expecting a professional who would capture our key…read moremoments with proper direction and care. Unfortunately, the results were deeply disappointing due to a severe lack of composition, missed key shots, and poor communication on the day of the event. Lack of Basic Direction & Composition: * Failed to provide basic posing guidance: didn't reposition arms in family shots, didn't ask us to move hair out of faces, and failed to point out unbuttoned shirts, dark sunglasses, or glasses hanging from shirts. * Group photos were poorly framed, including failing to center groups in the gazebo. * While candid shots are fine, they were not backed up with properly composed formal pictures. A disproportionate number of photos were taken of the backs of people's heads. Misdirected Focus & Missed Key Events: * Prioritized excessive photos of details and staff--taking multiple pictures of cookies (where one of the tables would have sufficed), endless shots of the dress, and numerous individual portraits of event staff--while missing actual wedding guests and key moments. * Promised to take group and table photos, but failed to capture even a single picture of each table. Included multiple photos of certain speakers while completely omitting others, despite having ample time to move to the front of the gathering. * Missed the dance entirely, claiming there wasn't time--even though we specifically delayed starting the dance so he could get into position. * Failed to capture guests during downtime, claiming he "didn't want to interrupt people eating," yet took no initiative during open moments. Lack of Accountability: When brought to S.Y.E. Photography's attention, there was a complete lack of accountability or willingness to provide a fair resolution. You only get one chance to capture your wedding day, and hiring S.Y.E. Photography was a major regret. Save yourself the frustration and hire a true professional.

Pictures are really good, she did a photo session of my boys for Easter and they turned out really…read moregood, but My experience with her this second time around was not so good, she demanded full payment to save our date and time, 3 months in advance, 2 nights before she canceled and rescheduled for the following weekend, and again ( the following weekend) the night before she wanted to rescheduled, I was ok with that but asked her to be more considerate with us as we planed our weekends around the photo shoot, and if she was going to cancel again to try to gives us more time, after that things did not work out between us and she is sending me my money back. So 3 stars for great pictures, but not the other 2 for scheduling issues.
