I took my 3 year old to get pics and the gal did a good job with taking the pictures. I paid a $20 deposit to set an appointment for the following week to come back,look at the pictures and place an order.
When I went in to order pictures, I wanted to buy a package advertised for around $80. In this package, you got 5 portrate sheets and "up to" 5 poses. I really only wanted 2 of the poses at this time, but the gal was insistent about 5 poses and told me it would be less expensive to order individual sheets at $20 for each pose a sheet and additional sheets of the same pose would be $15. I ordered 4 sheets with only 2 poses and I was charged an additional $81.53 (on top of the $20 I already paid for the deposit). Minus the deposit I figure I should have paid $50+tax. At the time I paid the $81.53. The gal kept commenting, that the prices did not include taxes...but taxes would not be $30. I had forgot about the deposit, so when I picked up the pictures I showed both receipts, expecting to get a refund, but the gal said she had deducted that.
When I placed my order, the gal put checks by the pictures I ordered. When I left, I asked if I needed a copy of the paperwork...I should have insisted on it.
When I picked up my order, it was wrong. I had ordered a 2 sheets with 4 smaller pictures and instead I got 2 sheets with only 2 pictures slightly larger than what I wanted. When I questioned it, she pulled out the order with the wrong sizes clearly listed in a different colored pen. She was quick to say "You can order more."
The gal is either completely clueless and shouldn't place orders or a scammer. I have the feeling it's the latter. Other than the photo shoot, the experience was icky overall. I should have made a big stink, but that is just not me, so I'm out $40-$50...it's hard to say because there is no paperwork. I will not be back. read more
