In the Columbus area for training and needed to unwind. As such, I ended up at CRU and I am happy I…read moredid. The location sits in the heart of Downtown which allows for ample parking. As you enter the building the vibe hits you at the door. The classic dim setting with the brand recognizable green lighting forces you to leave all your stress at the door and get into full chill mode. We were greeted by one of the waitresses who sat as and immediately took our drink order. As you sit and look around, the space is huge and the decor presents a bar meets lounge aesthetic. The DJ was spinning all the songs that gave you no choice but to rock, lean, or twerk wit it, whichever you prefer. LoL! When the waitress, Neiya, returned with our drinks she took our food and hookah order as well. Not your normal "bar" service. Neiya was super warm and inviting. Her bubbly personality and party vibe really added to the overall experience of CRU as a whole. I decided on the Wings and Fries for my mean and babeeeeeeeee. I trusted Neiya and went with the Honey Wings and them wingz waz wannnnggggiiinnnnnnnn. I'm talking about beat them back good. I'm talking where have these wings been all my life good. I'm talking who made these wings, tell them I love them good. LoL!! Furthermore, I consider myself a French Fry guru (in my mind) but whatever seasoning and sprinkle CRU puts on their fries has me licking my fingers and scraping the box. Ha! Don't judge me. The fries were bombbbbbbbb and I was here for it all. From the Vibe. To the Hookah. To the Service. To the Food. Everything about my night at CRU was amazing from an individual perspective, however, it was propelled into SuperTastic when everything came together. Awesome night. Thank you to Neiya for the great service. Thank you to the chef for the great food. And thank you to the entire CRU team for making the vibe a TRUE VIBE!!!! #WeOutsideeeeeeeeeeeeee

When I found out about this place, I was EXTREMELY excited to get an authentic, "Cleveland" corned…read morebeef sandwich - actually that was the only reason I went. I have been searching for one down here for years and have yet to find one that even comes close! The location is ehhh at best (in center/parking lot along w/gas station and some other places). Upon entering, the man at the front was not very friendly (not a good look for just opening up), decor seemed to be coming along and hopeful (they had just opened), and totally loved the photos of Cleveland (hopefully more will be added). Now, the sandwich....as hopeful as I was, was disappointing. The meat was sliced in almost chunks (not thinnly sliced like it's supposed to be) and was NOT that C-town corned beef (Viennas!!!) that they are known for. I asked if they got their meat from Cleveland (which they really need to if you are going to advertise Cleveland style corned beef sandwiches) , but was told that it was bought from some local dealer here....not good...it wasn't seasoned well and really, I could've slow cooked a corned beef brisket and it would've been better. And even though the bread was drowned in butter for some reason and may work for some other sandwich, that is not an authentic corned beef at all...it wasn't even on rye bread and no oozing Swiss cheese as they are served up in Cleveland. Might go back for a drink; seating area was cute, but will have to pass on the corned beef!

I was visiting Jonesboro on a Saturday and this place was recommended by the woman at the visitor…read morecenter. As it was only a short walk away, I decided to eat local. There seems to be plenty of parking on the street as well as the lot behind the building. It was around noon when I arrived and they were serving their brunch menu. I had the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit that came with eggs and a side of grits. The biscuit was large, soft, and toasted and the fried chicken on top crisp and seasoned well. It was sweet from the honey. The eggs (I had them scrambled) were fine, but nothing remarkable. The grits were quite spicy for my taste, but I'm a wimp from the Midwest so they were probably great. I enjoyed everything. I would have liked an unsweetened iced tea, but only sweet tea was available. I had a fountain soft drink instead of. The restaurant was light and airy. The furniture was a bit worn and the dishes were plain white plastic but on the whole it was a lovely place. My server was pleasant and attentive.

Finally, made it to this restaurant. I would be back…read more Parking, plenty. This is rare that a brunch spot has so much parking. There is a huge open parking lot on W. Mill across the street. There is also street parking. Wait to be seated. Best to have a reservation during peak hours. Weekend brunch and evenings I imagine to be busy. QR code menu. NOTE if you go during brunch and you get a cocktail from the menu you won't see the prices for brunch. That is part of the reason for the low rating. Even though the drink menu says the days and hours for those prices, you have to ask for the after those hours. The menu has your typical southern brunch flare with a twist. The drink menu is good. I ordered the impossible burger slider, it doesn't come with anything. Just two sliders. I ordered the potatoes. Even though the sliders were decent. It was a little salty. Presentation was good. Watermelon savage. I also tried the scrambled eggs - way too salty. It was inedible. My brunch partner didn't like the grits or chicken biscuit that it came with. Service was fine. Decor and atmosphere was nice. Overall, it was decent. It seems like a nice place to grab drinks and catch a vibe or be the vibe. Gratuity is included. Overall, decent spot. Oh and there is outdoor seating that includes a stage.
