We got married Dec 27 in Las Vegas. We aren't models and are not use to being in front of the camera. They gave us great directions and made shooting 8 hrs straight a breeze. I used Cloud 9 for a small commercial project and couldn't be happier. I own an educational science company and contracted them to film one of the science presentations for a new promotional video. Its only been up for a few weeks, but I easily have twice as many calls about the presentations. This video was an investment, but it will pay off, I have no doubt. I can attest to Cloud 9's skill and professionalism in 2 ways... On the shoot: They filmed a science presentation an elementary school, which involves 600+ kids, administration and teachers packed into one room, its tough! I spoke with the principal after the show and she said Cloud 9 (Jae & Jinsup) were great with the kids and they acted very professionally. Came early and were ready to go. The editing: I had a full page of corrections to make after the first draft, and Cloud 9 took care of the whole list with no problem. Also, I have past video editing experience and part of my deal was getting the timeline and raw footage from them to make changes in the future. You really can't appreciate how much work goes into these videos without seeing the timeline. My 2 minute video from Cloud 9 had over 20 tracks of video and audio overlayed and synced between 3 cameras and two audio sources. Very well done. Bravo. The other reviewers here as also seem very happy with their work on weddings so I wanted to share my experiences above regarding a slightly different kind of video. Right before our wedding, I decided we had to have a videographer and after working with Jason and his team, my husband thinks that this was the best money we spent! Joy, Jason and his crew were truly amazing assisting us as our videographer, not only on the day of, but through the editing process and until we received the final product. Before the wedding, Cloud 9's system prepared them to get to know us better, set the tone of the wedding, by asking us questions. We had the BEST experience working with the Cloud 9 team. My then fiance and I met with Jason & Joy via FaceTime and asked them a ton of questions before booking. As soon as we booked them, I was grateful to find that they were extremely responsive throughout the whole process and also very detailed and organized (which was very important to us!). Now for the day of the wedding, they were friendly, hard working and didn't miss any details. I absolutely LOVED working with them on our big day. After the wedding, one of my favorite things was getting updates via email each time they were done editing a section. It gave details about what they were doing and how long it would take and what stage of the process they were in. This made it so I never had to 'wonder' how long it was going to take to get the final product. Now, for the finished product...our video is absolutely incredible. This team is my favorite wedding vendors. I say this because-- they do not just deliver a video-- but capture the "emotion" and "love" my husband and I have for each other. From the first meeting we had with Jason and Joy-- we knew we were going to be in the right hands. They showed us previous weddings they've filmed and how the final DVD product would look like. It seriously looks like a movie! We've asked cloud 9 to film us from 1pm to 10pm... the day flew by so quickly and throughout the 9 hour day-- they were able to capture every minute of what we were doing without making a sound. (They don't talk because they are trying to avoid filming any unnecessary noise) I really didn't even know half the time where they were filming from because they are that good-- never in the way of the photographer or of any wedding party members. They stay out of the way while filming... everything! The whole day goes by so quickly-- it's overwhelming. The main reason why we wanted to hire a videographer for the wedding was because we wanted to once again experience our big day together- and share moments we didn't get to see because we were with our own wedding party. It's very rare for me to watch a stranger's wedding video, and be touched by it. However, Cloud 9 Cinematography is the only one who could make me feel all the emotions of the bride and groom, even though they're strangers. Cloud 9 doesn't do wedding videography, but wedding cinematograpy, and there's a reason why. They don't deliver a video with random clips from the wedding, but they deliver a short film, composed with a storyline and filled with emotions that anyone could feel. This is the main reason why I decided to hire Jason and his team to film my special day. What's even better was that Jason and his team were so pleasant to work with. They're very organized with the emails they send to keep you on top of your to-do list, as well as after the wedding, to keep you informed of the progress of the film.
