The people who worked there were ever so rude, unprofessional is probably an understatement. I visited this store with a group of bridesmaids to have alterations done, and the owner (male) was an absolute pervert. I didn't see him pin any of the dresses but what I do remember is, his finger slipped down one of my bridesmaid top at the bust area saying it's too big. This pervert also touched my 2nd bridesmaid stomach in a very perverted way. Let's just say we all felt very uncomfortable. He then gave us ridiculous prices which I knew tailored stores in Birmingham city centre were a lot cheaper. I turned to this owner and said we'll have a think about it, which his face turned. So as we didn't want the work to be done due to the poor customer service, they refused to return my £50 deposit which we put down at the beginning (which I've never heard of for tailor shop). They mentioned it was for consultation, which was never highlighted or made clear on text/phonecall. You'll assume you'll get be deposit back if work hasn't been done at all. I was quite surprised to see from other reviews too, looks like other customers had also experience this and were robbed like myself. Also If you are visiting and have completely ignored my review above, just remember not to lean on the desk, the lady who looks like she's part of the "Hills have eyes" who also works with the dirty pervert will probably murder you. I've never seen anyone go ballistic in my life for leaning gently onto the desk. It's a workstation they would say and it's not a social gathering!!!

I would never use this service again. I went there to get my daughter's prom dress altered. They…read morecarried out a fitting for her and afterwards said that it would cost between £75-£90 to carry out the alterations. When I returned to collect the dress they had not completely fitted the dress, they left the bust unfinished and said that I should return nearer the time of the prom to see if her bust grew and then they would finish the dress. I paid £85 for the work at the time I collected the dress. When I returned to have the work on the dress finished. They fitted her again and said that the remaining work would cost £110. I think that this was done deliberately and dishonestly to trap me in to paying extortionate amounts to have the dress completed. Best to steer clear of this service.
