For a little shop- they have a lot.
Recently moved from down the road into the old Lloyd's bank, I'm glad the village hasn't been left with a dead unit, and expanded to a ajoining bridal shop. Eugenie and Elisa are friendly and experienced with a lot to offer.
Alterations work on a week turnover (there's always quite a queue), but they have been known to do shorter jobs when people ring up panicking. They do anything from turning up your trousers to fixing up your wedding dress, by hand and machine. They have a little changing room in the back of the shop, so you can try on to do a fitting- and they'll always be honest about fittings and costings. (just please take your stuff in clean!)
If you can't find what your after squirrelled in the many nooks and crannies of the shop- just ask, as there's zips, cotton tapes, elastics, behind the till, and less popular odds and ends like rucksack clips upstairs. read more
