Many of the stalls in Birmingham Rag Market don't have names and this one doesn't either. I'm reviewing it because I think this one is particularly worthy of note, compares very favourably with other, similar businesses in the city and also shows the kind of quality you can find in the Rag Market.
The stall is located somewhere in the middle of the Rag Market hall, though a little closer to the outdoor market than the other side. All of the clothes are vintage or secondhand, which ever you think is applicable. The clothes range from silly to stylish - the items that I particularly liked were the range of extremely cool leather jackets, and some very nice military wear. There's also some faintly ridiculous stuff there, like tartan biker jackets and wacky waistcoats. All in all, the range is a lot more alluring to me than in virtually every other vintage clothes outlet in Birmingham.
The prices are at rock bottom, and are probably as cheap as a lot of charity shops. If you're into secondhand, or unusual clothes, then you should follow my decidedly sketchy directions and check out this place. I wouldn't be surprised if you fall in love...... read more
