The general salon and waiting area was a bit too loud for my daughter but when she went to get her hair washed, we noticed a "Quiet waiting area"!! I love this fact, especially for my child who is autistic. My daughter loved the hair massage as her hair was prepped for cutting. The hairdresser was calm, friendly and really listened to what we wanted. She was great at matching the pictures that we brought for examples. Received a call from Vietnamese hairdresser (Kay?) advising she was running about 10 minutes late. She arrived, parked in back and headed for front door. I went to door and it was locked. I could see her sitting in back. She buzzed me in. NO SMILE OR GREETING. I asked to use restroom and was shown where it was. I came out and she asked what I wanted. I tried to advise. First of all, I said I didn't like my neck shaved, just cut as short as possible with scissors. She told me that she could not do this as it would be uneven. Note that I have not had my neck shaved in years and she is the only person who has had a problem with this. She continued to be unfriendly and I told her she was rude. As it ended, she said she could not do my hair since I said she was rude. At this point, I left. What a disappointment. Would not recommend.
