So I waited weeks hoping her arm would heal so she could finally cut my hair, fast forward 5 weeks (my hair grows extremely fast) I was literally looking like don king and couldn't wait any longer! I was at the gym and saw this place so I decided to take a chance (frantically texting my aunt asking what to tell them I needed done), I walked in and got seated by Hong within 5 minutes. Mind you I am nervous and stressed the whole time because somebody other than my aunt would be cutting my hair for the first time in 10 years. She made me feel very comfortable and asked how I wanted it cut, I told her a 2 on the sides and a 5 on top. She made good conversation and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it! I'm still going to be loyal to my aunt and see her but Hong will definitely be my back up anytime I'm in need of an emergency haircut! I would definitely recommend her and her co-worker(I'm assuming the owner) to anyone. I was watching another guy get his haircut and his turned out great too! Thank you Hong for the amazing haircut!

I replied saying I wanted a haircut. She looks at my hair weirdly and asked how I wanted. I just wanted a zero with a high fade and leave the bun on top.This is what I always ask for anywhere and every salon knows how to do it. She looks at me weird and says they can't do it. lol seriously?!?!? She says they don't use razors there and it would be hard to get it to zero. You're a damn barber shop!!! You went to school for this profession and you opened a shop called, "Hairkutz" and you don't know how to do a zero and high fade?!?! She uncomfortable tells me she can't do it and I felt like I was rushed out. There was another man waiting and I'm pretty sure he's getting a damn fade. So unprofessional! If you can't do my hair, have the other stylist do it for me and not turn a customer down. I'm still lost and bewildered off this!

I come here when I need a haircut and I'm running errands at the West Valley Tracy mall. Which…read moremakes thos a convenient location for me. There are a variety of cuts/styles they do for men and women plus other services such as eyebrows, beards, and facials. Walk inside welcomed but they also do by appointment. There is usually 1 barber and a re eptionist. But I have seen 2 barbers and when it was busy the female receptionist did cut my hair. Facility is clean and not a rushed service as at chain haircut places. Prices are a couple dollars higher than at a chain hair cutting place but not by much and for me, I don't mind paying for the convenience.
