The waiting room and was then asked if I had an appointment. Answer, no. Just walked in and need a quick clean up. Sorry was the reply, maybe come back in an hour after 9. Can't imagine why any eager business professional with no other visible customers on site couldn't possibly provide a service that their sign advertises and take care of a customer. I suggest taking down the barber pole and changing your name to Plymouth Bay Salon. Not in any way like the old school barber I remember from years past. The world has changed and customer service as well as business acumen is nearly extinct.

Barber asks if I have an appointment at 8:21 and I say no. Reply is "we don't open until 9am". Now, walk ins are welcome, but apparently.....when? At least the name is right, Salon. Not an old school men's barber shop. No eager male barbers looking to provide customer service beyond their short sighted understanding of the concept or even for the good of the business. I suggest taking down the barber pole.

And the lady who was cutting my hair was so nice! All the workers are nice and chatty to their clients. I also like the Tea Tree Wash, which is $ 15 more because of the soap, but it's SO worth it. It feels amazing. You also get a massage, and it smells kinda minty. (Personally, that was a plus for me, I like mint) The ONLY, literally the ONLY, reason it's at four stars and not five is that I have realized the buzzers do hurt sometimes; they might need new ones, like it was pulling my hair. It did hurt, but she did get a new one when I told her, so it's all good. I will be coming back!
