I wish I could give this place zero stars. "Walk in" is a joke. Total waste of my time.

Best haircut I've had in a good while, Maggie hooked it up with good conversation and an even better haircut! I'm sure I'll be back !

Best haircut I've had in years. Save yourself a trip to Boston, she's that good. Thanks Maggie.

I love this place. They even came to my house when I broke my leg. Good beard work. Wry easy to get appointments

Been coming here regularly for years and unfortunately the prices keep going up and the service keeps getting worse! Today was the last time for me! Had the worst experience with a stylist who should probably be grooming dogs instead of cutting men's hair! The receptionist comes over to tell me no charge then when I go to leave she says is $20 pm with you? I'm like yup no problem , here you go and I'll never come back! ! read more

I took my 92 year old father in for a men's haircut. He likes it cut the way he has always worn it since enlisting in the Navy in 1949. It's hard to get it cut right. Christian; at Maggies Barbershop did an excellent job. He helped my Dad into the chair. He listened well, looked at pictures and talked with his elderly customer. The haircut came out perfect. It is an excellent neatly clipped and styled cut for any age. This young barber put a modern twist on an old style. Thank you, Christian. read more

I'm from out of state (California) and found Maggie's on a search for a barber. Both Sam and Amanda are great and I'm extremely happy with the service, haircut and experience with both lady's! I plan on coming back every year and Maggie's will always be my go to for a great haircut experience! Keep them around they are definitely the best! read more

I called and didn't have much time. They got me in very fast. Service was friendly and very professional. Great hair cut!

In a short period of time Maggie has garnered positive word of mouth and press coverage on the South Shore. She charges a reasonable price ($15) for a good cut. Walk-ins welcome! I look forward to seeing how this new Kingston business does. read more

The sign out front reads "Walk in," which I did on a Saturday morning at 10AM to learn that they are booked until the next day (Sunday) at 10:30AM. I made an appointment for Sunday at 10:30AM. At 9AM on Sunday, Maggie's called asking to reschedule for later that day, which I did, understanding that two barbers/stylists called out sick. Then, Maggie's called and left a voicemail to reschedule yet another time for the same day. I returned the voicemail and learned that Maggie's needed to reschedule me for 12:00PM. First, what is the purpose of the "Walk in" sign if the business doesn't accommodate walk ins? Second, what is the purpose of scheduling an appointment 24 hours in advance if the business doesn't accommodate the appointment? Finally, why did the business not offer me a free hair cut or a gift card for all the trouble? I finally informed the stylist attempting to schedule with me (I believe it was Nicole) that I'm not able to show up for a noon appointment and she said, "I don't know what to tell you. Have a good day." This experience was not good and could have been handled better. I hope the ownership has some plan to accommodate clients when staffing issues such as those that occured this weekend arise in the future. read more

Friendly staff, clean place with a laid-back vibe, consistently great cuts, attention to detail... Maggie's is the best.

Had to wait and the haircut for my two sons i could've done at home myself! Speaker was loud and right in there ear. Nope never again!

I live in the Nook and was having trouble finding a barber until Maggie opened up, I have been going since the shop opened, Maggie cuts my hair and is great with conversation, my hair is cut exactly how I want it each time and seems to only get better. I love the rest of the barbers as well, an eclectic mix of people. Maggie and her staff care about the community that supports them! I love the free dum dums read more

made an appointment and was able to get in the same day, everyone there was nice, i don't get my haircut often maybe once or twice a year since i keep it long and i'm apprehensive when it comes to haircuts because i've had bad luck in the past. the person who cut my hair did a phenomenal job and i'll say it is the best haircut i've gotten in a very long time. i was in and out in under 30 minutes!! read more

New Salon in Kingston, MA opened in October 2019. Great new spot right on Main St with plenty of parking. Was driving by and sign said walk-ins welcome. Maggie the owner was very friendly and has very a way of making you feel comfortable right away. Told her what I needed for a cut and she nailed it. Makes you feel like you have known her forever. I would not hesitate recommending this place for Adults or Kids. Salon was clean and fresh. No doubt she will be very successful as she builds her business. Drove by this place on Main St. a few times since it opened and decided to give it a try. Maggie is great! She is very skilled and was able to give me feedback on what would give me the best looking cut. The shop is very comfortable and the service was top notch. You can tell she is the "real deal" when it comes to her profession and knowledge. It was 1000 times better than my many trips to local chain salons where you have a different stylist each time. So I guess I should finish this by saying, "Thanks, Maggie, from saving me from the chain hair salons. See you again soon!" read more
