Located on spruce st, clip joint offers premium haircuts at a reasonable price. Ive been to other men's barber shops locations in morgantown and this is my new favorite place. It's an old fashioned type barber shop with a big, comfy lounge area. This is very needed for the agonizing long wait time. I went in around 830 am on a Tuesday morning and was there for about 1.5-2 hours. For this reason, my review is a 4.5 but I'm rounding up to a 5 bc I would rather have a my hairstylist go for quality over quantity of customers she can fit in. Also, they only accept cash, so bring some and be prepared to wait for a while. I can't imagine what rush hour is like. read more

Kevin and I believe her name was Christine were very nice professional and got the job done my 7 year old son enjoyed getting his haircut there too and talking to them. They no longer take call ahead seating and during the summer they can get very busy. read more

Fantastic hair cut. It's not often that I actually get the fade I request, but Mike killed it. The only negative is don't be in a hurry, but it's not some crazy amount of time. I have been going for years but news to you new clients out there, WVU students help to keep this place very busy due to how great it is and you cannot make an appointment so plan accordingly. Also be prepared for the very conservative conversations that may happen (I personally could do without) but that's what's great is that people are allowed to speak their mind in this country and first amendment rights should never be altered, but I digress. It's not a salon for for men.... Good "barber shop" experience, including a straight razor shave.

My usual Barber was out of town decided to call to see about prices and availability of appointments. When I called it rang for about a minute then went to a voicemail saying they only accepted walk-ins. I decided to see how busy it was. When I arrived there were two entlemen ahead of me. A third gentleman walked in ahead and just goes right to the chair. There was no knowledgement from any of The barbers when I walked into the shop. After a 45 minute wait I was left very disappointed with no haircut. It almost felt like they had no respect for people's time. read more

Clip Joint has the best hair cuts in town! I didn't even know how good a haircut was supposed to be until I went here for my first time. Staff was meticulous with my hair, getting every single out of place hair, leaving me with a great looking haircut. Wiped off every single hair and had a hot towel finish, all at a very affordable price. The location has a very cool and laidback feel to it, and the staff are all friendly and personable. One of the most thorough and precise haircuts I have had in my life. Kevin took his time, and spent more than twenty minutes producing the fade and haircut that I requested. It is true that you may have to wait depending on the number of people there, but you will be hard pressed to find another barber in this area with similar attention to detail and desire to give you what you ask for. I agree with Andy. Depending on the amount of call aheads, walk ins will have to wait but just call ahead and problem solved! This had to be one of the beat haircut experiences I've ever had. Kevin and Christy are super nice and do an incredibly thorough job with the cut. The prices are incredibly reasonable and they finish you off with a hot neck shave and towel off.
