poor workmanship on the left door

I had my Honda Accord repaired at Clint Newell's Body after a deer ran into the side of my car. They told me the work was guaranteed for paint defects and workmanship for as long as I own the car. The Door skin that was installed on my car has rusted through because the body technician did not prep and rustproof the installation of the door skin to Industry and I-Car standards, I'm told by several body shop that a very important step was not done in the preparation of the door skin ( Weld Through Primer) would have prevented this type of failure. this is a product of poor Workmanship. The Body Shop manager told my husband it's not their problem that I have owned the car to long, This is not acceptable to me. I love my Honda and it is in Immaculate shape not a speck of rust on it except for the door that was skinned improperly. take a look at the photos. My husband has left Clint voicemails to please at least call him with no response, that is just not the right thing to do Mr. Newell.

THE worst customer service experience! Got towed there after being stranded on I-5 due to the back end of the vehicle seizing up and not moving at all. $540 for a Vehicle diagnostic. Service Advisor Ellie is very stuck up and rude, so spoke with Service manager Frank, not any better. They said the 2016 Chevy w/less than 73k miles was not under warranty for the power train even though it is an obvious manufacture defect! I called GM Manufacturer, they said not to pay for the vehicle, they would take care of it. NOTHING DONE. GM customer service sucks just as bad as the Clint Newell customer service. Frank went above the GM rep I was talking to, who was helping the situation, and told the GM manager not to cover it. The issue with the vehicle was per Clint Newell "the rear differential side bearing is blown w/heavy damage to rear diff. Noise found from rear diff, vehicle will not move, grinding noise in rear, possible stripped ring gear and pinion. Disassembled the rear diff completely. Found the left carrier side bearing blown, this caused excessive movement in the ring gear and pinion and carrier binding the differential and damaging the locking assembly. The ring gear and pinion and the bearing spun in the housing damaging the housing as well. also found the right axle movement was excessive thus allowing the RR Rotor to contact the backing plate damaging both." TELL ME HOW THAT IS NOT A DEFECTIVE ISSUE?! Called Roseburg Towing to pull it out of Clint Newell's shop and send it to Walker Brothers. It's pretty pathetic customers have to jump through hoops like that, actually its complete bullshit. Nice customer service for a $51,000 truck. jerks.

I noticed that this place took down my review which is pretty shady of them. So here is my review…read moreagain on what happened. First off, this place will create a problem with your vehicle. My vehicle had a starter that went out and what this place did was CUT MY WIRES that would have caused an engine fire or even worse. This happened when I was in the hospital in the ER fighting for my life and my hubby brought our van into the place to get repaired. The place didnt just mess up the replacement of the starter but damaged something in the area that the starter is suppose to go to which ended up having to get ANOTHER starter plus the repair for the damage that they created. COSTLY for something that they did. Once I finally was allowed to leave the hospital I couldnt drive and unfortunately was in and out of the hospital for the next 2 years. During that time my hubby and I noticed that the van was having some weird stuff going on with the functioning of the van. We couldnt afford to outright have the van get a full exam but a professional mechanic offered to take a look to help us out. Once that professional mechanic came and took a look at the van he was not only surprised by what he found but told us that we were very lucky that we didnt have a engine fire or even an accident because the van was actually an accident waiting to happen. The mechanic did the repairs and assured us the car was now safe to drive. He did explain to us that there was absolutely no way that what was cut was an accident but was obviously done on purpose. I called up the repair shop and told them what we found out and honestly was pretty ticked off how they were willing to create a issue to a customer's car just to get more money and how careless they were on someone else's wellbeing on safety. We have children and I would have been devastated if any of my family was injured or worse. Of course, the repair shop tried to downplay what they did and denied what they did. I placed a review shortly after the whole situation was discussed. The place wanted to discuss things again and wanted me to remove my review which I never did. Just didnt want the shady lies that place tried to convince me of and wanted to warn other future possible customers of the dangerous stunt that they did to me about my van. Several years later I noticed that they place removed my review, so I restated what happened and looks like they removed it again. Yep I AM RESTATING WHAT HAPPENED AGAIN IN A REVIEW. This place is dangerous for anyone's safety. Seriously avoid this place. I have a relative that went to this place out of desperation and they got screwed over as well. Their car should have never even been there but after they got their car repaired, they started to have other issues which created a safety problem to their car too. Luckily another mechanic fixed the safety issue and even had to replace the issue from the repair too. I don't know who is ok to allow these very dangerous actions to continue at their business but it can and most likely will end up getting sued if anyone is injured or unalive from the place trying to create problems for money.

Again, today, they went above and beyond for me. Simple…read moreand relatively inexpensive repair done. Then they took my card $ and DELIVERED MY CAR because I needed it for tomorrow (July 4) but couldn't get there.
