This place is so fun and I cannot wait to come back. I went with some friends and 3 out of 4 of our…read moregroup had never climbed before. They have two auto Belays and bouldering walls and two belays where you need a person to belay with you. We just did the auto belay and bouldering due to a 15 min class if we had done the two person belay. We were short on time. We were there for an hour and by the end our fingers were cramping and shoulders and arms were feeling sore. The two guys working there were super helpful and courteous. I changed for dinner in their shower room and everything was neat and clean.

Climb west Nashville is a massive step up in layout space and design. And Murfreesboro location is by far the best Stairs located in the middle "hangout area" very overcrowded, mats only 6 or so feet from the walls, which puts everyone watching on the edges of the mats and center of the gym with no room to walk anywhere. Holds are the worst I've experienced in gym climbing, many of the holds are loose, and it seems like there are way too many routes set to perhaps make up for the fact that there isn't a lot of wall to work with, but the route setters must be high, arrows pointing in wrong directions with no clear start holds identified on most v2-v5 routes. Lastly the largest section of the climbing area is the cave, which nobody seems to use or at least is under utilized, just go to Murfreesboro or West. Seems like they need a max capacity or a website to book times on to free up some space, also they need to have some route setters from a different location to come to the rescue. Overall super friendly climbers and staff!
