This was the absolute WORST company I have ever done business with. I can't even comment on their work as the job was not even done to completion. ROBERT (the owner) sent a tech to our home for the repair of central AC system. The tech came on day 1 to do an evaluation. My husband was in/out of the basement as he worked to discuss what the potential problem might be. The technician seemed friendly and comfortable. He and my husband has friendly conversation, he asked a few questions, used our bathroom, etc. The visit was completely uneventful. He called his boss multiple times during the visit, sending him pics of the AC system which I found to be unusual. He gave the impression of someone who was new to the job and not confident in making his own determinations. However, since he was consulting with the boss we felt he could do the job appropriately. He said he would need to order a part and return to install. No problem. He came back the next morning and proceeded to the basement. I was upstairs as I am currently working remotely from home My husband accompanied the tech to the basement then went outside to water the garden and do other yard work. Suddenly, he receives a call from Robert telling him "stop following my guy around...you're making him uncomfortable". My husband was completely baffled by this as there had been no issue and no awkward discussion between him and the tech on day 1 or 2. Robert stated "leave my guy alone...if you don't like it find somebody else". Stating the tech had informed him that he was uncomfortable with my husband around. When my husband informed me, I told him to call Robert back to clarify what he was specifically referring to. He began yelling over the phone repeating "stop following the guy". He added "people come from different backgrounds, I don't know what your background is but stop following him, he doesn't like it". He asked my husband how he would feel if someone watched him while he worked to which my husband replied it would be no problem. Robert continued to literally yell...stating that he doesn't need our business, he has plenty of people lined up, and we can go find someone else". I then took the phone to let him know that this behaviour is neither acceptable nor appreciated. Informed him that we've had many repair techs in our home over the years and have never experienced anything like this. I have a daughter who was asleep in her bedroom in the basement at the time. The technician had made a wrong turn previously while looking for the furnace room. I told my husband to be sure he understood which door led to the furnace to avoid him accidentally opening her door when trying to locate the furnace again. My husband showed him the correct way and that was that. Robert's response to whatever the tech told him was completely unwarranted as there was no wrong doing on my husbands part. Robert continued to yell at me this time before abruptly hanging up the phone. This call took pace on my husbands cell phone. I have recorded the entire encounter on my cell phone and advised Robert as such. I called Robert back on my own line to follow up on the previous call. Prior to that I spoke with the tech who said he was feeling "stressed and confused". My husband informed him that Robert called and said his presence was causing him to feel uncomfortable. The tech told my husband that he had been very stressed on day 1 due to personal issues but he continued to state that he didn't understand what was going on. I told him that his boss was very rude and as a result I will not do business with this company. I assured the tech that it was not a personal issue with him (not on your part anyway...not sure what the tech even told Robert or how he felt about us). This tech appeared to be extremely stressed and taken by surprise. I informed Robert that the tech said he didn't understand what was happening and seemed confused by this whole situation. Also that the tech stated he was stressed due to moving and other personal issues the previous day. He replied that he would call the tech to "find out what's going on". I replied that I would not be doing business with him as he has terrible customer relations. He yelled some more and stated that he yelled the first time because I "kept cutting him off" when, in reality, he refused to let us speak. His tone, his choice of words, his attitude was completely unprofessional. I informed him that I would be leaving a review everywhere I could and would be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Of course, he is not registered with BBB No surprise. Robert called the tech again and began to disconnect his tools and pack up his things to leave. I believe that it was his behaviour that put undue stress on his technician. The poor man has a language barrier and could not even understand or articulate what was happening. Do yourself a favour stay away from this company. We will not tolerate disrespect from anyone for any reason. read more
