It has a range of hen night type joke items which aren't suitable for children at all, for example. It also has quite a large selection of greeting cards, mostly comedy ones. I used to think this shop was great in the 1980s - it was a place to find unusual gifts. It all looks really dated and tacky now - so either I've become incredibly sophisticated in my old age, or Clayhanger really haven't kept up with retails trends - I suspect the latter.

It's very children friendly, with staff members teaching younger players the basics of Warhammer, etc, in a patient manner. They also run regular tournaments and related events. They have particularly top-notch terrain on the boards in this branch, very unusual caves and pulley systems and volcanoes, great fun if you usually play on a tablecloth! The only thing I would mention is that although the staff are immensely useful as regards Games Workshop products, don't expect recommendations for D&D or other role-playing games, they're very sales-minded and frown on it!
