But they had jumped their prices up substantially. So, I was searching for a barber or stylist 1, that didn't cost an arm & a leg, 2, had very good reviews. Hicks Manor Barber Shop met that criteria. I stopped by in the afternoon. Only had to wait about 10-12 minutes for a barber. The gentleman asked how I wanted it cut and how short. Chatted a bit while he cut my hair, pleasant conversation. Done in short order and looked great. Main test was what my wife thought. Passed with flying colors! Very happy with the finished product, the price, the time involved and , it was close to home! Added bonus! Heading back there soon for another cut.

After a few failed attempts at the other barber shops around town, I decided to take a chance on Lisa's and I have zero regrets. For once, someone LISTENED. The other barbers would nod their hair in agreement and then give me exactly what I didn't want. Lisa's bright personality and love of her craft made the experience all the more better in her classy, small and very clean barber shop. I told her exactly what I was shooting for in the long run and she tailored my cut exactly for that. She is by appointment only, but it's to your benefit. It's only her and it amounts to a personalized experience where you're always comfortable. You'll find her on the first floor in the 260 building which contains a smattering of independent businesses and offices. Five-star experience all around. Thank you, Lisa!

My coworkers have been coming here for a few weeks and recommended that I check it out. They typically see James and he does a great job. I've definitely found my go-to barber for my time here in Ohio. From what I observed, looked like all the barbers, male and females, were doing great work and seemed friendly. The aesthetic of the barbershop itself is super nice. Seriously, overall this was the best barbershop I've ever been to. I wish it was in my hometown back in Arizona:( It's going to be hard leaving this standard and going back to what I'm used to! It's not the cheapest place I've ever been, and it's not the most expensive place either. It's reasonably priced. Haha I'm no math expert but I'm pretty sure I tipped at least 40% to show my appreciation to Justin for the dedication to doing a good job. My shit hair genes got me thinning out but he gave me a clean fade and I've been feeling fresh. Trying to enjoy my last few years of having hair before I gotta start shaving it fully lol
