After paying a total of $1,711.84, the problem always returned within days (3 days, then 14 days, then less than 24 hours). They also lied about dates and claimed the car came in for "three different problems," which is completely false -- it was the same issue every time. Their invoices lacked detail, and they ignored the written list of symptoms I left in the car. The second shop I went to finally fixed the issue and provided detailed notes showing what should have been done the first time. When I filed a complaint, Jay Barker's Auto Repair even claimed they "did not know" I was having these issues, which makes no sense since their own receipts list "Engine Power Reduced."
