Each of the starters and mains have a selected list of accompanying sides. Two sides are included in the menu price and I agree with the concept that too many different tastes can obscure the food. I had pea and ham soup with bread and blue cheese which was excellent. Similar to my mother's own recipe and given piquancy with the blue cheese. This was followed by buck breast with a star anise jus and home made chips and a portobello mushroom. The service was also excellent, if I'm honest we kept the staff waiting far too long after dinner and yet there was no hint that they wanted us to move on. All in all an outstanding experience. Not cheap but not expensive, well presented with courteous and friendly staff. I'd highly recommend it.
