They sell other sports items like footballs and football boots and accessories. Everything is a good price and they have lots of promotions. The staff can be quite slow and hard to find but are alright. Great free parking for 2 hours and lots of spaces.

I am an amateur runner just starting out but they also seem to cater for all runners including the much more advanced than me! This didnt stop them advising me on what shoes were appropriate for me without making me feel like I wasnt important to them, as some athletic shops do if you are not part of the elite. They also have a rather impresive running machine that they can film you to chech your running style. I hear they moved from a smaller unit down the same street, I guess great service and good products does pay off!!

A family run business that really puts their heart into it. Not intimidating in the slightest and…read morethey won't pounce on you either (I hate that, especially in a sport shop)! Customer service is obviously at the fore front and they will go the extra mile. You feel as if you are getting advice from a good friend as opposed to a sales person. They have an array of sport offerings but particularly specialise in cricket, tennis, rugby and fitness. The items and clothing that they stock is of top performance but also looks really good. In particular I have purchased some great running gear that performs well, is comfortable and is well styled. They have a great eye for product. They are an exciting addition to the Hove and Brighton community. I am all for championing good local retailers such as Nick Rivett Sport.

They have alot of womens, mens and childrens running clothing along with a really large range of sporty food items i.e energy gel, which looks like a thick blue capri sun. They have waterbottles, pens etc. They have lots of specialist equiptment for sporty people, such as Lacrosse sticks - i dont know how much they are meant to cost, but these were more than £100! There ate woggles, swimming cotumes and goggles. They had gum guards, hockey stick tape and lots of hockey sticks. They had a few PE kit bags, but maybe should have a few more. My favourite thing about the shop is the display of the running man.

What a great emporium this is! What a refreshing change to…read morefind a shop that sells quality clothes and all of them made in Great Britain! Whilst mostly being known as an outdoor clothing company they also sell a fine range of other clothes and footwear too for men women and children. Not the cheapest but the quality is outstanding. I can personally vouch that their wax waterproof jackets are indeed very waterproof. Whilst at a football match at Brighton and Hove Albions poor excuse for a stadium where on a foggy day you can't see the pitch and a rainy one you are totally exposed to the elements, after a full 90 minutes, plus stopage time and walking to and from the ground from where I had parked the car, the body area that my jacket covered was totally dry! I only wished that I had also had some of their trousers, boots, gloves, hat. This is a family owned and run business and well worth supporting. All their garments are made at their factory in the North East not some far away sweatshop. This brand is very popular with tourists especially as members of the Royal Family are often filmed wearing their Barbours' and Helen Mirren wore one in her portrayal of The Queen in the film by the same name. The staff are very knowledgable, friendly and helpful and will do their best to order anything not in stock. Well worth a visit whether a tourist or a local.

What an amazing little find! Was literally driving past on…read morethe way to a BBQ and the boyff spotted it. The chaos in there was funny, really friendly, and didn't try to sell you just expensive branded things. They explained to the boyff what he needed, how to maintain it, and so on. For what is basically a garden shed next to a garden centre it seemed they had it all there in every nook and cranny. I personally am not interested in fishing, nor ever will be I doubt, but, I'll go back there 100% even to buy the other half presents as you know they won't take the Mikey and advise/sell you what it is that you would need and the level and sophistication of what standard you are. Jolly, helpful and great prices!!!!
