I had an appointment at 2:30PM on a Sunday and was seated promptly. The lady who washed my hair was gentle and explained what products she was using. Aisha, the woman who cut my hair was attentive to what I wanted. I wanted around 2 inches off, layered and she delivered just that. She always made sure to show me how much she was going to cut and if I was okay with the length. I love how she texturized my hair, which gave it more volume and definition. I ended up loving my haircut with the layers -- not many places know how to layer hair well. They used Paul Mitchell products during my visit and I ended up purchasing a hair serum online when I got home since I really liked how it made my hair look. In all, I would definitely come back if I ever need a haircut and I recommend this spot for your hair needs!

I give it all high marks for the services, atmosphere and quality. I believe that the prices in Most salons are very high end but one needs to understand that this is 2025 and EVERYTHING IS WAY HIGHER IN PRICE ESPECIALLY IN NEW YORK CITY. You can go cheaper when you are just looking for a mediocre job but you get what you pay for and my hair is my shining star so I will have to pay for excellence. For the haircut and dying my roots with a blowout came out to about $200 dollars plus tips. If I was to have my entire head also highlighted could easily cost me $200 bucks more. Can I/ will I spend $400.00 every 3-4 months and approximately 200 dollars every 6-8 weeks for maintenance? I went in on Weds for a hair color. Both Katie & Zoga lovingly worked on me. Then, however, I left in a rush for an appt and told them no need to blowdry. When my hair dried though, I found that the highlights were too contrast-y with the base color. Not sure what to do, I debated and then finally called. Kate, the owner, graciously let me come back for an immediate appointment and came over personally to check my hair color. They ended up not only fixing it but making it more than beautiful!!! The stylists really listen to you and help choose a style based on your outfit and event. Styling 5/5: my hair turned out great. I got a loose curl/beach wave look. I had hours until my event so my stylist made sure to make the curls tighter so they'd fall throughout the day and be loose for the event, rather than loose at the start and flat by the time of my event. Price 5/5: the price is so much better than you'll pay at dry bar or blowout Bar in the city. $30 for a blowout plus $10 tip, and I walked out in exactly 45 minutes after the full wash and blowout. This is so close to many towns in NJ, so it's the and best option for Jersey folk. I will be going here from now on!
