As a result of this absence he had six substitute teachers and over 6 month went by before the school found permanent replacement. As a parent for the past 5 month I believed that the teachers absence was handled accordingly. Especially considering that the entire time we were assured that everything was fine. For 5 month I did not receive any kind of notice from school that my son was not doing well. Based on the daily grating everything looked like he was doing well.
