Mike was personable and helped me consider different outfits (i brought like 8 options...). I got some really great headshots and ended up purchasing another retouched image because I liked so many of the looks he suggested.

If you're near Ravenswood, Mike and his space are likely only a few blocks from you. We wanted something professional, but fun and also on brand. We opted to purchase some color paper backgrounds that matched a few of our brand colors. Mike helped us acquire those and had them set up for us when the first small group arrived. Mike was very professional, friendly, and fun to help those who were a bit apprehensive about the whole process (re: everyone!) feel a lot more at ease. He was great about answering questions ahead of time and the process to pay the deposit and balance was a breeze - no issues there. We opted to have one shot per person lightly retouched. The first gallery with all the photos to choose from was laid out nicely. It included Mike's favorites, ones he thought the subject liked, and one that had all images. This really helped our indecisive teammates narrow things down. Once we had the first gallery back and one final image selected per person, Mike worked his magic to make us all look good. Final gallery was delivered within the time frame promised and everyone was very pleased with the final results. We are continuing to use him for our new hire headshots as teammates join and I would gladly recommend his services to others. It was a great experience!

If anyone knows me - I am extremely particular in who I work with and the type of product I want (only the best) since you are spending hundreds and literally thousands of dollars so you want to make sure the end product is what you pay for! Usually, it is customary for the Korean's 1st Bday to have great photos! These are memories that will last a lifetime and you want a great photographer to work with! So this is an investment we were worth spending some money on. Moving to Chicago I was bit nervous working with a new photographer since I am very particular and want someone that will capture the right moments! In fact it's very hard! We wanted someone who understood our needs and the design element ideas that would capture that perfect moment! Luckily after 7 calls with various different photographers around the Chicago land area we were glad we found Studio Soo Chicago Baby! He was the only a few who actually responded timely, flexible with scheduling and accommodating! Soo does an amazing job with trying to get shots that we are looking for - see below some of his fabulous work! We also went with their photo booth at the Birthday party since Soo was very accommodating and upgrading things we didn't even think we wanted! While the overall cost was a bit more than what we wanted to spend I look at these things as an investment! Overall, if you are looking for great baby photographer -Chicago Baby is the best in Chicago! If you are looking at photographers who can create and take amazing shots- Chicago baby is the best around here! Moving forward this is the only studio that I would do business with since I trust not only their product, but I know Soo is flexible, transparent with pricing and easy to work with!! I absolutely recommend this studio - See the photos and the type of professional quality you get!
