Ordered pizza on a relaxing Friday from DoorDash, I was happy to see this pizza shop in my area as I've been to their other locations. The food was delivered hot & fresh and was delicious. The deep dish Philly cheesesteak pizza had so much flavor. The only thing I'd say is the pizza wasn't traditional deep dish but nonetheless it was fine. Order our food online and was told it would be an hour. At an hour and 20 minutes I called and was told it isn't in the store so it must be out for delivery. I received it at an hour and 30 minutes. A very long wait in my opinion. I had ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich with extra cheese. When I bit into it I noticed there was no cheese. I looked at the rest of the sandwich, as did my wife and mother in law and every agreed there was no cheese. I called up to the store to let them know and to get the extra cheese charge credited and I was told "I spoke to the general manager and he said he made it and there is cheese on it" Great customer service!! I asked to speak to the general manager and told him that when a customer complains it is not great to tell them "no, you are wrong". He felt his employee didn't tell me that. He insisted that there was cheese on the sandwich. Too many food places in mentor to deal with poorly managed restaurants. Seriously an hour and a half to get a couple pizzas and a sub. It took 1.5 hrs for delivery and when I called a little over an hour after placing it, the lady was not very nice about it. She said the delivery driver is out and hung up. I called bcuz if they were behind I was just going to go get it. My kids were starving and I didn't want to make them wait much longer. 25 minutes later he came and I live 15 min away. I had a lot of cleaning to get done so I thought delivery would be more convenient but now I wish I went with a diff option for dinner. On top of it the food arrived cold and wasn't great. The breadsticks were very dry. It was a waste of $50. Could have gotten better food and faster delivery somewhere else. I don't think we will be ordering from here again. read more

I think this is very good pizza. This is the second time we've ordered it, and I was pleased. We had the New York extra large with sausage and onion. It had red onion on it, which I'm normally used to white onion on a pizza, so that took a little bit of getting used to, but it did work. They already include some extra cheese that you can sprinkle on, crushed red pepper, and some tomato sauce. I thought that was a nice touch because we used all of those and it added some extra zing. I thought the pizza was big, hearty, affordable, and very tasty. Plus the boneless chicken bites, with the Cleveland Gold sauce we thought were delicious. The staff is very friendly, professional, helpful, courteous, efficient. I think they have a fantastic team at Cleveland Pizza in Mentor and we will definitely return! read more

Holy moly. What a great spot! My boyfriend and I loaded up on some great eats from here after a long day in the sun and were not disappointed. We got a build your own thick crust pizza, fried mushrooms, cheesy garlic bread and Cleveland gold wings. The pizza crush was the perfect size and had both a crunch but soft inside. The fried mushrooms were probably the best I've ever had - I'm still dreaming over the ranch dip included. The wing sauce was absolutely fantastic! It's hard to describe - you just have to try! And then the cheesy bread was a perfect middle ground appetizer. And major kudos on the delivery too! Our order was perfectly wrapped up and early. Thank you! Had saved coupons cut off of the boxes from the many pizzas ordered from here. Ordered and picked up two large pizzas yesterday and they wouldn't honor the coupons. Yes, they were older coupons but I still spent the money no matter when the coupons were offered. Losing a good customer for approx $8 in coupons is simply a poor business practice. Even if they offered to honor 50% of the coupon value of d have been satisfied. Will never order from them again. read more

Cleveland Pizza doesn't disappoint! The wings are great, pizza is delish! Fries and breaded mushrooms are tasty! We've ordered wings and boneless wings, both are very good. I love that you can customize how well done your items are! The well done wings have a fantastic crispy skin. The well done fries are some of the best delivery/carry out fries I've ever had'. The pizza is also delicious! Everything we've ordered has arrived hot and delicious! Contactless delivery is great! Even so, delivery people wear masks, which adds to my comfort level. The site has some but not all pictures and is very dated. The store itself is tiny and usually presentable but I wouldn't say clean or spotless. The food though. That's what this is about. And it's garbage. The ranch somehow has zero flavor. The wings are consistently overdone and undersauced. Some of the wing sauces are down right revolting. The sandwiches are overpriced for what they are. The pizza is hit or miss but usualy over cooked. This is not the pizza place we deserve. This is Detroit pizza. read more

I used to really love this place. 3 years ago it was our go to pizza place. I'm not sure what happened but the quality has really gone down hill. The pizza is sometimes good or way to over cooked. The Mac cheese bites have changed, much smaller but the breading has changed into this weird greasy texture that matched the mozzarella sticks. The fries are so greasy you can squeeze the grease out. This isn't after one time, the last 3 or 4 times here it's been this way. The last order they completely sent us the wrong food. I'm really bummed about this. I hope they go back to how they used to be. I know everyone is short staffed and hurting but I just can't spend my money here anymore. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. I have had repeated issues that are never resolved well but kept trying to give them another chance because I used to like their food. I waited an hour and a half for a cold pizza and a warm salad and was told I would have to wait another hour for a fresh pizza. No remorse, just it is what it is. The wait time says 65 minutes on their website and they always are later than that. if I am going to wait that long my pizza shouldn't be cold!and I gave them a 20% tip ahead of time! read more

Good pizza with a nice variety of sauce options. Consistency of the crust can vary pretty dramatically from visit to visit. One time it was thick and dense and not too appetizing, but another time it was thinner and fluffy. The place is staffed almost completely by teens though so that is to be expected. Nevertheless, I'll take it over most national chains and some regional chains. read more

This was are Sunday night pizza choice and overall it was a good experience. We ordered a thin crust family size and a deep dish, we place the order online and within 3 min i got a call telling me they where out of deepdish crust (major let down) so they asked if a traditional crust would be okay but did not offer any discount since they did not have the deepdish, i said okay since i did not want to wait longer and order elsewhere. Are food arrived quicker then expected and was hot and fresh both pizzas where very good but topping were thrown on very inconsistent and very sparce. The funnel cake fries were the best and cheapest thing we got, with those issues and the $61 bill for the 2 pizza's and funnel cake fries i dont feel it is worth the price for inconsistent pizza making and lack of menu items and for that reason im not sure if i will be ordering or recommending this place in the future. read more

sub sandwiches are large and wonderful.come in a cardboard box which keeps them warm without the steam you get from Styrofoam .we usually get the Italianio and the meatballl sub.Pizzas are quite good.make sure you pay attention to sauces.accidently got the sweet red sauce on pizza and we did not like it. Our first time here we got large pepperoni pizza, garlic bread with cheese, and honey BBQ wings. The pizza was greasy but that good kind of greasy that you look for with a decent pizza now I'm not saying all pizza has to be greasy but it's good some times. We absolutely loved the garlic bread it was gooey with a lovely sauce. My husband loves wings and we both liked these the honey BBQ sauce was a little sweet on the first bite but the lovely spice came out at the end which was needed. I said this was my first time ordering from there and she told me I would not be disappointed.i was able to look at the pizza before paying which actually means something since I've been almost forced to pay for food before its given to me and it's wrong or just a mess and then told theres nothing they can do. Decided to give this relativity new pizza place to Mentor a try, have to say, unimpressed. Online ordering was very easy to use. Ordered a large, regular crust garlic sauce pizza & a Cleveland Burger. First, pizza was ready when I arrived & order was correct. Now, to the actual food. I would say that the crust was a bit overlooked for my taste. It was quite crisp but not burnt. I felt like the sauce was non existent. I understand that garlic sauce is a light sauce, but I have had some great garlic sauces. Plus having only cheese, I should be able to taste garlic. Overall, bland. Now the Cleveland Burger - think a Roman Burger. I would venture they cook the burger in the pizza oven. The edges of the burgers are extremely crispy, yes, crispy. Even with the Italian dressing, cheese, tomato & lettuce, it still crunched when I bit into it. I would be a good sandwich if the burger was properly cooked. Sorry, I don't like crunchy burgers. With so many options in Mentor for pizza, I think I will stay with my tried and true favorite. read more
