Even after we moved out, we are still waiting almost a month later to get nearly $1000 that they fraudulently drafted from our checking account. EDIT: They certainly do not have the capacity to draft money independent of a resident's direction. However, be aware that if you select automatic payment of your CURRENT BALANCE, the system can draft multiple times your balance in the event of a prorated payment. Further, it will likely take weeks for your money to be returned, and the staff will (as you can see) blame you and your "confusion" for not cancelling a recurring payment, incorrect though that assertion may be.

As time passed by my wife and I got to know the entire staff even better. They are people that care about the people and listened to our concerns. There some people that lived within the complex who didn't appreciate the hard work in which the staff and maintenance personnel were providing. We appreciated the hard work that management and maintenance personnel provided. It takes a lot of financial, mental, physical, and social means to keep Brookberry looking as good as it did or does. Any problems we had within our apartment or outside. We could always put in a trouble call ticket online or call the office. Within 24 hours the staff had maintenance crew taking care of the issue. My wife and I really miss living at Brookberry Park, but we purchased a fantastic new home last year. In my opinion, what makes Brookberry Park a fantastic place to live in is the following reasons. 1.) Awesome staff and maintenance personnel display professionalism and fantastic people skills. 2.) Always finding a way to involve the residence in helping the people in the community that are less fortunate. 3.) The location is great. 4.) The exterior of Brookberry Park has an awesome appearance. As the saying goes, "The first impression is a long-lasting impression." 5.) You will get a great apartment at an affordable rate. I would recommend Brookberry Park to anyone. Louis and Michelle J.

From my first visit to the final day, I absolutely loved this complex. I rented a "studio" or Jr One Bedroom as it may be listed online. Living alone, this was all I needed to feel comfortable and still have some space to spare. The studio style is very open with the living room and kitchen combined and an open-top wall separating the bedroom. The huge walk in closet was perfect for storage of clothes and other oddities. All of the appliances were state of the art and honestly a joy to use. My apartment was ground level facing the baseball field. I'm sure all other apartments boast beautiful views as well. My only caution about renting one facing the Dash ball field would be noise. While games can get noisy over the loudspeaker, even out of season there are many events across the street that play music nearly daily and into the night. At the same time, you can't beat the gorgeous view of fireworks out the massive living room window after a Friday night game. The rest of the complex is just as high-quality. The pool, exercise room, business center, and common areas are vibrant and welcoming. I would tend to watch big sporting events on the large HD tv in the common area. The poolside grills are also a very nice amenity and a treat for guests go experience. The office management at Link completed my enjoyable experience. Mike was a tremendous help in getting everything squared away when I moved in, as well as available to answer any questions throughout my stay. Lisa also was very helpful. I did have one instance of a leaking closet roof. Maintenance was contacted who quickly came and fixed the problem. While the leak was fixed, maintenance took a decent amount of time to install a new ceiling piece. I kept this as a 5 star review vs 4 solely because Lisa was adamant about getting this fixed. I had mentioned that maintenance had been great at solving the leak, but part of my closet was unusable until a new ceiling was replaced. Lisa was great in contacting maintenance to completely finish the project and very kind throughout the process. I looked at a handful of places when I moved to WS. There are a lot that have more affordable pricing, but the quality of Link definitely exceeds the rental price. I would recommend at least touring Link apartments before making a final decision in your move.

If you have children, DO NOT MOVE HERE!! My family and I moved here from California in May 2024…read more July 16, 2024 we notified the office management at the time of standing water outside our apartment to which they replied that they would have maintenance look at it (that never happened). We began complaining about our upstairs neighbors dropping cigarette butts onto our ottoman on our patio and along the patio because the rain would wash them onto our patio and we have a 2 year old and, at the time, 7 month old. We told management about the upstairs neighbors banging around and stomping around anywhere from 11PM-4AM as we have young children and my husband is a truck driver. Nothing was done to mediate the issues. Emails back and forth from September 2024 until May 2025 about these neighbors, their noise and their dog droppings they would leave littered across the front area of both our apartment and theirs. The management asked for proof and I literally got a picture of the girl taking her dog to use the bathroom and STILL nothing was done. New management comes in, Karla Hernandez (who's the property manager yet never on the property), who was notified of these issues and still refused to have mediation between us and the neighbors. Easter 2025 my husband had water with dog feces dumped on him while on the patio by the neighbor and reported it to an assistant the following day because Karla was not on the property and was told they would contact him by the end of the day or next day. They didn't. They waited until May 6th (almost 3 weeks later) to send a letter stating that May 9th there would be a mediation meeting. May 8th my husband got in an altercation with the boyfriend of the friend that was renting from the lease holders upstairs when he watched the boyfriend walking away from the dog poop his dog had just dropped. The following day I have the office assistant calling my phone telling me that the mediation had been rescheduled to the following Monday and a couple hours later Karla decided to do her job and ask about this altercation. During this phone call she had stated that she "[didn't] care about anything that happened before she got [there]." and that "maybe we should've picked a different place to live". It was a real slap in the face as a parent just wanting a sanitary and safe place to have my children be. The night of May 9th, as my husband was heading off to work, he found a notice to vacate the premises on our door and it was for both units. We've never had any notices or warnings against us and we were late on rent ONCE by a day because my husband was coming off of medical for getting sick shortly after Easter & testing positive for Hep A antibodies (which could quite possibly have been caused by the fecal water they dropped on our patio and all over our ottoman however many times). In June we had to contact the city (Village of Clemmons) because the standing water we reported in July the previous year was so bad that we were stepping in it to get into the apartment and to leave the apartment. it also had sat so long that algae began to grow and my children were getting bitten all over by mosquitoes laying their eggs in it. Karla, a day or two before we finished cleaning and moving out said she's having people spray and work on the leak because the city said something about it, not because we had. And now, Karla is trying to charge us for carpet replacement of almost $1400 because of "heavy wear and tear" but first she said it was because of detection of urine. These people are shady as hell and only care about what they can squeeze out of you. I've watched many people move out and they have a revolving door of maintenance men so you never know who is coming into your homes. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN! They do not care about your peace, your quiet enjoyment time, or your health; they care about lining their pockets! P.S. The BSC Holdings company is a private owner so they don't need to abide by Housing rules (meaning that they don't have to fix something if they don't feel the need to).

They were great. My problem is that Burke uses several second party websites for everything. Three so far. Those websites SUCK. I mean they SUCK. I've spent 20 hours trying to fix what should have taken 20 minutes. SO--If you attempt to rent here follow this advice. Go buy a new computer. Do not attempt this using an IPhone or IPad or even a three year old lap top. It ain't gonna happen. EXPECT the second party websites to freeze. Then you have to start all over and end up with TWO accounts and neither will work. The Pet Portal will make you throw your (new) IPad against a wall. The "pay" portal --Bilt-- is worse. you can load your credit card and it may be rejected because "you are over your limit". Even though you have $30,000 available. This is because Mastercard thinks that Bilt is a scam and won't pay until you get an email from Mastercard asking for approval. By then your first attempt has expired and you get to fill out all the questions again----and now have another TWO applications to deal with. BUT-- Burke seems nice. The Staff that I've met were nice. But I'm guessing that corp. mismanagement has screwed up bad by choosing the second party websites. (for the record--I'm a recently retired medical equipment/IT Engineer).

I also loved that it had a large pool for my son, and a small movie theater in the complex. Plus, the fact that my apartment would be new, was appealing as I preferred something not lived in previously. My apartment was on the 3rd floor. Though the previous review said there was no sound-proofing when it came to neighbors, I have to disagree. I thought I would hear more noise, but it really wasn't bad. Maybe it was due to me being on the top level? I did hear however, lots of construction noise as they were still building new apartments. At times, the noise was very bothersome, but after a while I could just tune it out. The dirt from the construction was also a problem at times. The main reason, however, that I am not giving them 5 stars is the constant turnaround of management and maintenance staff in the short time I was there. And, the worst part was that my son's window had a very bad leak that went unattended and eventually developed mold. I do accept partial responsibility as I should've addressed it sooner with them. But I honestly had not known it was as bad as it was till I took a closer look. I must say however, that the new management team, Amanda and Hillary, were very responsive to this. They got right on it. Amanda was also very professional and apologetic. She let me know of some of the issues that had occurred in the past due to maintenance staff turnover and I appreciated her honesty. I have been in sales, and also property management for many years. I know that things happen, and occasionally there are issues. I have also learned that the way in which it is handled, makes all the difference. They did a great job handling it, and really turned around what could have been an extremely negative experience. I know that since I have moved out, they have gone to great lengths to continually improve and to learn from their mistakes and I respect that. The apartments inside are beautiful, and hopefully, they will continue to make the renters experience just as beautiful.

No soundproofing or insulation at all, you can hear your neighbor sneeze! I found a place to move to, to escape the noise pollution. I wish a review like this would have been up sooner so I would have known to avoid this place :(
