Their prices are very reasonable for the size of the townhouses- they are all 2 bedroom townhouse floor plan. We didn't have many maintenance issues and we moved into a clean, fresh space. They have a pool and a small playground and there is plenty of area to walk around. There is a very small gym and shared laundry facilities but you also have the hookups for your own in the unit. The townhouses are outdated in their style and the kitchen is rather small, but functional. Everything worked as you would hope. You get a small patio area as well which was nice to have. Our one issue was ongoing invasion of earwigs- they offer pest control and we did our own spraying but we persistently had earwigs in the downstairs. But for the affordability compared to other rentals in the area, it was a manageable issue. We really enjoyed our time here, they're well located with easy access to lots of stores and well rated schools. I'd highly recommend giving them a chance!

I also loved that it had a large pool for my son, and a small movie theater in the complex. Plus, the fact that my apartment would be new, was appealing as I preferred something not lived in previously. My apartment was on the 3rd floor. Though the previous review said there was no sound-proofing when it came to neighbors, I have to disagree. I thought I would hear more noise, but it really wasn't bad. Maybe it was due to me being on the top level? I did hear however, lots of construction noise as they were still building new apartments. At times, the noise was very bothersome, but after a while I could just tune it out. The dirt from the construction was also a problem at times. The main reason, however, that I am not giving them 5 stars is the constant turnaround of management and maintenance staff in the short time I was there. And, the worst part was that my son's window had a very bad leak that went unattended and eventually developed mold. I do accept partial responsibility as I should've addressed it sooner with them. But I honestly had not known it was as bad as it was till I took a closer look. I must say however, that the new management team, Amanda and Hillary, were very responsive to this. They got right on it. Amanda was also very professional and apologetic. She let me know of some of the issues that had occurred in the past due to maintenance staff turnover and I appreciated her honesty. I have been in sales, and also property management for many years. I know that things happen, and occasionally there are issues. I have also learned that the way in which it is handled, makes all the difference. They did a great job handling it, and really turned around what could have been an extremely negative experience. I know that since I have moved out, they have gone to great lengths to continually improve and to learn from their mistakes and I respect that. The apartments inside are beautiful, and hopefully, they will continue to make the renters experience just as beautiful.

The staff us super friendly and makes me feel very welcome and like family. Maintenance is always fast, and the guys are great at their jobs. I love that the pool is open all year. It was hilarious to see my MIL's boyfriend swim on Christmas. There is a gym that is also ALWAYS open. It's a little small, but I'm always alone when I go, so the size is no issue for me. I would recommend Savannah Place to anyone.

Maintenance is horrible. It was not this way many years ago. They were always so nice and maintenance back then fixed things properly and in a timely manner. Now they put a band aid on it if even come at all. They do not return calls or emails. Office sits outside and smokes all day instead of helping the community. You will be lucky to get inside the office during open hours because door always locked or they are away. Apartments are falling apart and cheap and they do not upgrade them at all. If you live in an apartment for many years they will not even come and paint when renewing a lease. They do not do regular maintenance to them when renew a lease but expect you to pay when moving out when could have been avoided if they maintained them properly when renewing a lease. ALSO every month they charge 40 to 60 or more in a water bill and when you complain they can magically adjust the amount. It is still to high for 1 month you pay over 30 for a water bill. We were told by the water company they have 1 meter on each building and the office divides the bill based on how many are in the whole building. So you are paying for others and empty apartments. Summer when the pool is open you get charged even more in water a month. There have been tons of gang and drug bust here in the last year. Break ins..to homes and cars. People who do not live here coming to the pool partying around young kids. Constant traffic in and out of the party apartments...tons of noise and the office will do nothing about it. They do not enforce people picking up dog poop ..you see everyone walking dogs letting them poop all over and never pick it up. No matter how much you tell the office they do nothing. Kids playing in dog poop...kids running wild with no supervision all of the time. They told the community 4 years ago when market rates kept going up they were going to build a new play area for the kids. Still no safe play area. It is dangerous and old and nasty. They charge market rates but these apartments have NOTHING like others. No nice play area for kids. No gym..no club house no nothing but a nasty old tennis court full of dog poop that is a "dog park." This place has really gone downhill. The only good thing about this area is the school district. I know many people who wanted to stay here for that reason but it has gotten so bad they said it isn't worth it anymore and left. This place needs new management..new office staff..new maintenance (other than Tammy she is amazing but is not here often) They do not treat residents who have been here for a long time with any respect or help you get things done that you ask. They are so nice trying to get you to sign the lease but after that they change. Please read all reviews everywhere before coming here. The people they R allowing to move here now has caused so many unsafe situations for families and children. It is no longer safe.

When we visited, we were greeted by the amazing staff in the front office. Both Chris and Maria were amazing. They were patient with my mom and brother as they navigated through the application process, Maria especially. She sat and worked with them to ensure they received everything, from the waived administration fee with my brother being a public servant, to waiting patiently as we verified my mom's information. Although Kathy handled my move-in seemingly painlessly, she seemed to be a little more concerned with my personal life than my actual lease agreement. That relationship didn't last long as she is no longer with Bella Management. Maintenance both then and now, have been PHENOMENAL! Ebony, who manages several properties following Kathy's separation, has called and responded to all of my concerns. She has been super compassionate and very transparent in the management turnover process. This location is easily accessible to I-40, local restaurants, local schools, and even Downtown Winston-Salem.
