I needed a florist fast and one that was able to deliver same day. Clemmons is the place! I found them on Yelp, which was helpful to see the proximity of there location to the delivery address. I was directed to their website which was user friendly and had everything explain, ie if you want same day delivery, order before 2pm, with a countdown showing how much time was remaining. I placed the order and asked, "if possible can you deliver by 4pm." It was possible! They delivered by 4pm and my parents whom I was sending the congratulatory flower arrangement were home and said they were "beautiful!" Thank you Clemmons! Whilst snapchatting each other random photos of our workplace desks and cubicles one day, I noticed in one clever picture that my ladyfriend had stationed in the rear corner of her desk a sad little fake orchid. Unable to abide the idea of a lady, mine or any other, wiling away her 8-to-5 days staring at a sad little fake orchid, I felt I needed to take action. Being of and from Charlotte, I was not at all familiar with Greensboro area florists. So, naturally, I turned to Yelp. After reading Julia G's glowing review of Clemmons Florist, and their speedy same-day delivery of her sister's arrangement, I figured I'd found my shop. Solid choice. Clemmons' website is very nicely laid out and easy to navigate. I was able to browse through a number of categories of delightfully classified options assorted by colors, types of flowers, occasion, etc. Not the sort to spring for more traditional bouquets of roses or carnations or things with lots of pink and white and yellow, I was happy to find plenty of arrangements that leveraged the more cool and subdued colors of myriad purples and blues. In short time, I'd selected a rather fetching little square-vased arrangement of an indigo to lavender range of lisianthus, miniature daisies, and waxflowers sprinkled amongst a dense bunch of rich greens with little dustings of baby's breath. Understanding that sending flowers to a lady at her officeplace runs a fine line between elating and embarrassing, I approached the entire foray with some degree of trepidation. But the counterbalance of my unrelenting desire to supplant the crappy fake orchid urged me toward floral certainty. When prompted to provide a message for the card I temporarily froze. I had not considered it. Then a couple well-formed sentences about throwing out artificial orchids and not feeling bad when these already-cut flowers died rolled from my lips, purposefully, with, if I may say so, the perfect mix of sarcasm and romance. My unconventional message was not questioned by Clemmons and was registered on the little placard with all the asymmetrical sentence structure and thoughtful cadence with which I improvisationally structured it. I placed the order roundabouts 1pm on a Tuesday. At shortly after half-past-3 I got a rather enthusiastic flurry of text messages from my ladyfriend. Not only did the arrangement show up in shockingly fast time, but it was gorgeously full with huge, healthy blossoms (at least so far as I could tell from the attached photo she sent me) and, in her words, smelled wonderful. Should I again have the need to send flowers in or around the greater Greensboro area, there will be no debate or Yelp searching. Straight to Clemmons I'll go. read more

We were extremely pleased with the large basket of flowers that Clemmons Florist provided for the church worship services on Fathers Day, June 18th. Not only were they beautiful to look at but when you walked into the sanctuary the fragrance was very pleasing and not at all overwhelming. After the services were concluded, we were able to divide the flowers into five smaller vases and deliver them to fathers in the congregation who are living in senior communities and were not able to attend church in person.
