AMAZING PLACE! I go every year for my wife birthday delivery! For like the past 10 years! Lol! They always remember my name and face and my wife's birthday! Lol!! I always get something besides balloons, flowers and a stuff animal, I always bring a cake or chocolates or cupcakes to be delivered as well. I asked if there was any way a balloon bouquet could be ordered and delivered for his 30th birthday. Merry was so kind and helpful. Could not be more pleased with the service and quality I received recently. A Daisy a Day delivered a beautiful arrangement to Wake Forest University Hospital for a friend. It took 3 weeks because the patients was constantly being returned to ICU where she couldn't have flowers, so they were checking everyday until they were told she was in a room where she could receive the flowers. Pro: -- very polite -- flowers arrived on day promised even if it was Saturday. -- managed to communicated with recipient who does not speak a whit of English -- flowers were gorgeous -- per my request, they texted me a picture in the morning of the flowers they sent -- price was good for ordered flowers -- i got what is listed as FTD flower bouquet that is 65 USD for 50 USD -- delivery was also lower than sites like ftd and pro flowers and what not. Cons -- i wanted a specific uncommon flower, they didn't have it although it is listed as one of the flowers in several of their available to order arrangements. I wonder what they would have done if I had ordered that arrangement... not worth docking a star -- they didn't put my name on the card... I suppose it was more of a surprise for the recipient Neutrals -- i wanted to order mostly tulips, mixed with a few roses and lilies for visual interest. I think I failed to communicate that properly or I just got one of their standard arrangements : hard to say which -- it was hard to order exactly what i want on a budget. I ended up giving them a budget, my preferred flowers and my excluded flowers. However I couldn't get a price for say 10 tulips and 5 roses and 3 lilies or some such. This again may have been a communication issue. And yes I am a control freak.... Ordering flowers still seems a rip off compared to going into a store and putting the bouquet together with what is seasonal and available and in great condition. I have ordered Christmas flowers before from ftd and what arrived was much smaller than expected and ridiculously overpriced to the point of making me want to swear off such places. Since I couldn't be there, however, these florists by far exceeded my expectations for such services. I would use them again next time I am not in that town. And if i am in town I may go there anyways -- the flowers were very prettily arranged! read more
