I make my appointments in the morning And get there two hours early. The Oasis restaurant makes the best breakfast in town. Made to order or self serve eggs bacon sausage , if rather, they cook up omelets any way ya want them. And best ever coffee. Next upstairs to Dr. Hassels office. First they adjust pacemaker , then visit with Doctor Hassel. He finds out what he needs to know and I am out of there. I had to take some tests and had to deal with Out Patient desk. They were very helpful and every thing was done with a smile and relaxed. Just super ! The one thing is interesting I think I walked into the Oasis restaurant and I am type 2 diabetes. I had a slight dizzy spell. The cook wanted to stop cooking and take me to a chair. Two nurses were there waiting for breakfast. They took over and carried my tray to the table for me. Tell me it is better some where else . sorry I won't believe it.

Dr. John Drewniany is the BEST! I fell early on a Saturday morning (2:30 am to be precise and no,…read moreI was not drunk, ha ha) and woke up to a hand 4 times its normal size. Urgent Care claimed in was fractured but not serious enough to go to the hospital immediately as it would be better to see a hand specialist. I found Dr. Drewniany online and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Drewniany determined I had an extreme sprain but no broken bones. Gave me care instructions and told me to come back to see him in a week. Upon my return, the swelling had gone down but I was in a lot of pain and I don't like narcotics because they make me loopy. Dr. Drewniany examined my wrist again, gave me some non-narcotic pain pills with an anti-inflammatory and voila. Swellng way down and pain greatly subsided. Dr. Drewniany is one of those no nonsense doctors who gives it to you straight and knows exactly what to do. His staff is kind and professional. BEST OF ALL - he doesn't leave you waiting in the lobby for an hour. You are in an exam room within 10 - 15 minutes of your actual appointment time and Doc will be with you approximately 5 mins later. If you have a hand or arm injury, this is the guy to see. He's done wonders helping my hand and helping me feel better after a pretty serious injury.

My lab work was scheduled after my visit with the doctor, and then I received a text message advising that the date and time had been changed. Because I have low blood sugar, I cannot have a late-morning appointment. There were also three separate attempts to get my imaging orders sent to the correct location. While I did speak with some individuals who were professional on the phone, all of my imaging requests were routed through referrals, and that is where the process broke down. I understand that end-of-year volume may be a factor, but these issues have made scheduling unnecessarily difficult.
