I honestly thought I would have to throw it out. I brought it here and the women was very nice she explained that the company she uses is on vacation and the cleaning would take about 3 weeks. Given the condition of the rug I was happy someone wanted to attempt to clean it. I was pleasantly surprised when she called after 12 days to say the rug was done. Upon arriving home and rolling it out, it looked brand new and the smell was gone! I will definitely be using their services again!

I like the after-hours drop off - they give you a bag, and you can drop off your dry cleaning 24x7…read more I have used their tailoring to repair pants or shirts - reasonably priced work. They take back the wire hangers, which I like. The dry cleaning itself - a little more expensive than other places, but I think it is worth it. They do a nice job and are always pleasant. I don't get rating a business down to one star for having a common credit card policy. My parents taught me to carry an emergency $20 for such occasions. Posted policy or not - one star? Seriously? What has happened to people?

The Upper Valley having become a dry-cleaning desert, I brought my long-neglected Pembleton…read moreraincoat and my near-antique J.Crew cashmere-wool jacket to Song's, on recommendation from my sister-in-law who lives nearby. Did the coat first, and it came back close to immaculate! I'd thought that those grimy cuffs were beyond hope. So next did the jacket-- now it looks fresh off the rack. No weird chemical smells, no trashed linings or buttons. The woman who helped me was knowledgeable and helpful. The hours are convenient. It's not cheap, but it's so worth it. ***One caveat: the address in Yelp is outdated! Song's moved down & across the street, is now at 1292 Hookset Road in Hookset. Find the Walgreens, and you're almost there. The first time I went, my GPS had me driving in circles.

This review is for their 239 Main Dunstable Rd., Nashua location. The staff is very good…read more However, the woman who works there weekdays is absolutely phenomenal. She knows her regular customers by name. By the time you pull up to their store and get out of your car, she has what you are picking up already waiting for you at the register. What makes this dry cleaner/laundry so great is how they deal with stains. They have a master-class stain expert on staff where the actual cleaning is done, with years of experience and training. If you can say what the stain is made of (grease, blood, BBQ sauce, mustard and relish, etc.) your garments come back stain-free. Believe me, I have put them through their paces and have yet to not get back clothing that went in stained, but comes back looking new. Between the woman I mentioned (I regret I do not recall her name) and their expert - this place is amazing. I do not know their competitions' pricing, so I cannot offer a comparison - but I do not care. Their work is the best I have found, living for the past 48 years in Nashua.

I went to have a dress hemmed and was charged $120. The only alteration was shortening the length…read more The dress was brand new with the tags still attached and had originally cost about $80. Before leaving a review, I tried multiple times to understand the charge because it seemed unusually high. I called four times, as well as the day I dropped the dress off, and also stopped in person hoping to speak with the tailor or owner. I wanted to make sure there wasn't a misunderstanding or error before posting a negative review, but I was never able to get a clear explanation of the pricing. Afterward, I spoke with other local tailors and showed them the dress. Based on their feedback, the cost I was charged was significantly higher than expected. If there was a reason for the pricing, I would have appreciated the opportunity to have it explained. They have always been convenient for dry cleaning, and I've had positive experiences with that service. However, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering alterations ask for a detailed quote upfront and make sure they clearly understand the pricing before leaving their garment.
