We were charged $5,223.17, which is an outrageous amount. During the repair, I received a phone call saying they couldn't find new rims and would have to use used ones. I was never given the option to wait for new rims or choose another solution. They made the decision for me. When I picked up the car, I was shocked. The "used" rims were covered in scratches and looked terrible. When I expressed how unhappy I was, I was told they had "saved me $400." That isn't a savings when you're paying over $5,200 and receiving scratched, used parts that make the car look worse. I trusted this shop to be honest and treat us fairly. Instead, I left feeling ripped off, misled, and taken advantage of. For over $5,000, I expected quality workmanship, communication, and the opportunity to approve such a major change before it was done. I would never recommend this shop to anyone, especially women or single parents who are trusting a repair shop to do the right thing.

While it was on the rack, the mechanic inspected the rest of the vehicle unprompted and then called me back to show me a supposed "problem." A member of the auto team videoed it on my phone as he made his case, and I have that video. After a frustrating conversation with the GM, I insisted they take the car down and I left. As I was leaving, I got a call telling me I also had a busted axle and these things needed fixed immediately. The video illustrates the 2 "leaky valves" they claimed to find, valves that were later proven not to be leaking at all. Suspicious, I took the car to two separate independent shops afterward. Both put it on the rack, ran diagnostics, and found absolutely nothing wrong: no leak, no busted axle. One shop even had me come back two days later specifically to check for the leak Adams claimed to have found. Still nothing. Two weeks later, still no leak, proof this was an unnecessary repair suggestion, not a real problem. Two unrelated shops finding zero issues isn't a coincidence. If you take your car here, be cautious, the repairs recommended may not be necessary. In my case they were NOT! If I could give them a ZERO for rating, I would!

Half the sprayers don't fully spray the car and you have no idea which wash you're actually getting since nothing lights up in the tunnel to indicate what is being applied. I doubt the brushes have been cleaned or replaced. MUCH better tunnel washes out there for the money that also do a better job of drying. Detailing service: this is where the value of this place is. They do a good job for the money of detailing interior wise but ARE NOT pros. Don't expect high levels of detail here, they seem to use the same product on everything from dash to seat. There not rotating a leather cleaner to dash cleaner so everything ends up clean but not necessarily correct. For the money they ask you can't argue with the service, you'll need to point out specific things you want attention to. DIY Bays: the DIY bays are great and have never eaten my cash and again for the value offer a great selection of products. Overall this is a 3/5 star place. I can't imagine bringing a high end luxury car here. But for your daily driver it should do the trick.

UPDATE 10/10: I went there this morning. Barely any soap. Again she came and sprayed it for a…read morewhile, after watching me do it. Like f she sprayed it, soap would come out for her. After spraying it for a while, still no more soap. Then she proceeds to tell me "that is how it is now". "Just a little bit of soap". Her words exactly. I talked to two people washing their car and they didn't even realize it because they saw a few suds. So apparently they put just enough soap in to make it look like there is soap but it's not enough to do anything. Should be called CAR RINSE. I've been coming here for about 3 years because I prefer a DIY car wash, and unfortunately there aren't any other options like this in The Woodlands. I really WANT to like this place. But the ongoing equipment problems have gotten ridiculous. It's $8 for 10 minutes. The problem is that I have lost count of how many times I've paid, started washing, and gotten little to NO soap. And I don't mean one bad bay once in a while. This happens repeatedly. Every time I get an employee, they come out and test the system themselves like when they do it, soap will come out. They spray the wand, check it, go back and add soap or do whatever they need to do, and eventually it works. They do give me the lost time back, which I appreciate, but they only add it back 5 minutes at a time. I have to stop and go find someone twice just to get the 10 minutes I paid for. At that point, I've spent more time dealing with the car wash than actually washing my car. Sometimes I've had to switch bays and pay another $8 just to find one with soap. I've also had a card reader not work, forcing me to switch bays again. So therefore I paid $16 for a little bit of soap for 10 minutes. The switching bays has also caused an actual problem with my wheels. I use a tire/rim cleaner during the wash, and on one visit there was no soap, so I had to switch bays. The rim cleaner was left sitting on the wheels while I was dealing with the equipment and changing bays, and it ended up damaging the finish on my rims. That was especially frustrating because I shouldn't have to worry about damaging my car while trying to get the equipment to work. I go on Saturday mornings, and I have a schedule to keep since I only have Saturdays to get everything done. I don't have time to spend half my car wash hunting down employees because the equipment isn't working. And here's the kicker: the last time this happened, I was admittedly pretty frustrated and finally lost my patience. The employee went into the mechanical room and within seconds there was suddenly TONS of soap. Like... apparently the soap was in there somewhere. The vacuums aren't great either. I was wasting another $4 every time I used them and finally bought my own vacuum because it was getting ridiculous. I don't blame the employees. They are usually trying to help while also dealing with a busy drive-through car wash. I would happily keep coming here. I like DIY car washes, I like being able to take my time, and there really isn't another one nearby. But when I pay $8 for 10 minutes, I expect to actually get soap for those 10 minutes--not spend half my time tracking someone down to make the equipment work. I've contacted them through their number online with no response. So if you're coming here, just know what you may be getting yourself into. You might get a great wash, or you might spend your Saturday morning chasing down employees, changing bays, waiting for soap, paying for extra time, and hoping your car doesn't pay the price for equipment problems.

An employee broke my back wiper and I didn't notice until | arrived home. I went to complain the next day. The manager (Josh) was unprofessional and stated it was loose before I went to car wash. My wiper was perfectly fine before and I never had issues. He didn't try to help me in any way nor did he try to be empathetic to my concern. I ask to see the camera and he refused. All he did was try to convince me that my wiper was broken before I got my car wash. He was extremely rude, arrogant and had no intention of helping me instead trying to prove it was broken before I washed my car. Actually, the employee broke it right before I washed it. I was so upset. I could not continue to argue with the manager. He was condescending and did a poor job at trying to address the issue. I canceled my membership. I will never go back to this car wash. The new system is a liability. As Josh stated it began two weeks ago. No one should touch your car unless you give them permission. This was my first experience with that service and it will be my last car wash at Clearwater. If you do use this car wash make sure they don't touch your wipers before you go to wash your car!
